1. Summary Dynamic self-scheduling schemes have been proposed for loops with dependencies on heterogeneous clusters. These schemes require internode communication, pro- vided by a synchronization mechanism. In this paper we study the problem of finding the optimal synchro- nization frequency that minimizes the overall parallel ex- ecution time. We construct a theoretical model that es- timates the parallel execution time. |
