heal.abstract |
In this paper a circular switched parasitic array of log-periodic dipole antennas (LPDAs) is introduced. The overall structure is subjected to an optimization procedure in order to attain significant directivity and operational bandwidth at the 3.1 GHz - 10.6 GHz frequency band with the aid of the genetic algorithms technique. Beam steering is feasible by selecting which one LPDA is connected to the signal source. ©2008 IEEE. |
