An examination of the real gas isentropic change on the basis of the entropy function shows that three new generalized isentropic exponents exist, which should be used in place of the conventional exponent. Analytical functions are provided for the new exponents. Their numerical values are calculated for the cases of steam, air, refrigerants R12, R22 and NH//3 for which accurate thermodynamic data and caloric equations of state are available. |
