The use of the Prolog programming language for the detection and classification of QRSs in the ECG is presented. It is shown how facts, rules, questions and the inference mechanism of Prolog can be utilized for the recognition of QRSs. Experimental results are given for real ECGs taken from the CSE (Common Standards for Electrocardiography) ECG library. |
