heal.abstract The paper presents measurements of shear wave velocity and dynamic shear moduli obtained by the Cross Hole method, in a very soft clay deposit. The measurements are correlated with results from static cone penetration tests, pressuremeter tests, field vane tests and undrained triaxial tests. The N(SPT) values measured at the site were very low and consequently correlations of Go with N, although they are rather common in the literature, would be unreliable. Hence, correlations with the results of other in situ tests are derived and presented. en
