heal.abstract	The paper deals with the dynamics of mooring lines for deep water applications. Time-domain and frequency-domain analysis methods have been used to present extensive numerical results concerning dynamic tensions amplifications and cable's motions. Special attention has been paid to the assessment of the impact that submerged buoys have on the dynamic behaviour of mooring lines on which they are attached. The effect that the principle characteristics of the buoys (number, size and location of attachement) have on the dynamics of deep water mooring lines has demonstrated through a parametric numerical study.	en
