heal.abstract In this paper are presented the results of measurements performed on the physical model of the Drapetsona breakwater, constructed to examine the effects of the wave reflection in the area, under two different cases. The first case is under present conditions, with the existing vertical wall structure and the second case with a rubble mound with a berm constructed in front of the vertical wall. The results of this study indicate that it is necessary to construct the proposed rubble mound in order to improve present wave disturbances. en
