heal.abstract	The aim of this paper is to explore the winter daylighting conditions in traditional buildings of Florina using a typical sample. This issue is approached from two distinct viewpoints: daylighting measurements and computer analysis. The daylighting measurements were conducted in the main living spaces of both the ground floor and the upper storey, on dates near the winter solstice at 09:00, at 12:00 and at 15:00 TST (True Solar Time). The daylighting analysis and simulations were conducted using the Ecotect and the Radiance software. It is the intention of the author to compare the results of these two approaches.	en
