The cloud represents a computing paradigm where scalable virtualized resources are provided ""as a service"" over the Internet. Mobile/wireless clouds of seamlessly integrated wireless networks is the latest technology trend. Moving the ""Test bed as a Service"" notion to the wireless cloud, enables ordering of user slices for experimentation on wireless test beds, scattered across multiple, federated, possibly heterogeneous research laboratories. In this study, we design and implement a wireless resource management framework for the delivery of ""Test bed as a service"", over a cloud of 802.11b/g resources. The proposed framework is denoted as Virtual Network Embedding in Wireless Systems. © 2011 IEEE. |
