heal.abstract	Advanced water resources management is facilitated by hydrologic data management using modem computer technologies. By means of such technologies, a distributed data management system for hydrologic, meteorologic and hydrogeologic historical information has been built. In this paper, we present the fundamental design and implementation principles and features of the system. Information classification, local and distributed database design and network architecture are described.	en
