dc.description.abstract	Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο γίνεται μια γενική παρουσίαση της Κύπρου και σε αυτό παρουσιάζεται το κυκλοφοριακό πρόβλημα της Λευκωσίας αναλύοντας τα προβλήματα στις δημόσιες συγκοινωνίες της και προτείνοντας ως λύση τη δημιουργία μετρό. Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο παρουσιάζεται η μελέτη και η χάραξη της γραμμής. Στο τρίτο κεφάλαιο παρουσιάζεται η γεωλογία κατα μήκος της χάραξης της γραμμής,με την χρήση γεωλογικών χαρτών και γεωτρήσεων. Τέλος στο τέταρτο κεφάλαιο προτείνεται τρόπος για την διάνοιξη των σταθμών και της σήραγγας της γραμμής και υπολογίζεται η κοστολόγηση του έργου καθώς και ο χρόνος ολοκλήρωσής του.	el
dc.description.abstract	The first chapter is an overview of Cyprus on which the traffic problem in Nicosia is being represented , by analyzing the issues in public transportation and suggesting a reasonable solution to construct a subway line. The second chapter describes the study and formulation of the subway line. The third chapter presents the geology along the subway line by using geological maps and investigative boreholes of the region. Finally, the fourth chapter suggests ways to open the subway stations and tunnel, estimate the cost and the scheduling of the project.	en
