dc.description.abstract	Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία έχει ως αντικείμενο να εξετάσει κατά πόσο οι αστοχίες συγκολλήσεων επηρεάζουν την αντοχή των κατασκευών. Στο Κεφάλαιο 1 γίνεται μια γενική αναφορά στις συγκολλήσεις και πως αυτές εξελίχθηκαν στο χρόνο καθώς και η τοπολογία και η μηχανική συμπεριφορά των συγκολλήσεων. Στο Κεφάλαιο 2 αναλύονται οι αστοχίες συγκολλήσεων ενώ στο Κεφάλαιο 3 οι μέθοδοι ελέγχου των συγκολλήσεων. Το Κεφάλαιο 4 είναι το πειραματικό μέρος της εργασίας όπου περιγράφονται και σχολιάζονται οι δοκιμές εφελκυσμού σε συγκολλητά δοκίμια με συγκεκριμένα σφάλματα.	el
dc.description.abstract	The present diplomatic thesis has as object to consider whether the welding defects and especially the welds discontinuous affect the strength of the welded constructions. Chapter 1 gives a general report on welds and how they evolved in time as well as the topology and the mechanical behavior of the welds. Chapter 2 analyzes the failures of welds while in Chapter 3 the methods of control of welds. Chapter 4 is the experimental part of the work described and discussed where the tensile tests on welded specimens with specific errors.	en
