heal.abstract	Ο αστικός χώρος σήμερα χαρακτηρίζεται από αυξανόμενη πολυπλοκότητα, που βλέπει τα όρια μεταξύ δημόσιου και ιδιωτικού να γίνονται όλο και λιγότερο διακριτά, με λειτουργίες να μετατίθενται και προς τις δύο κατευθύνσεις. Παρατηρούμε λοιπόν την εμφάνιση νέων αστικών μετασχηματισμών, ανάμεσα στο δημόσιο και το ιδιωτικό.Στα πλαίσια του μαθήματος της διάλεξης μελετήσαμε δύο τέτοιους χώρους υβριδικού χαρακτήρα με έντονη παρουσία στο αθηναϊκό τοπίο, τη Μαρίνα Φλοίσβου στο Φάληρο και τον πολυχώρο Escape Center στο Ίλιον. Μελετώντας τα ετερόκλητα στοιχεία που συγκροτούν την ταυτότητα των τόπων αυτών και αξιολογώντας το λόγο των χρηστών επιχειρήσαμε να συνθέσουμε την ταυτότητά τους ως υβριδικά περιβάλλοντα. Διερευνώντας τα δημόσια χαρακτηριστικά τους και τον κοινωνικό τους χαρακτήρα σε συνδυασμό με τα στοιχεία που απορρέουν από την ιδιωτική τους φύση, συνειδητοποιούμε ότι αν και έχουν κατεξοχήν καταναλωτικό χαρακτήρα, φέρουν χαρακτηριστικά δημοσίου και δημιουργούν συνθήκες δημοσιότητας. Οι χώροι αυτοί αποτελούν ιδιωτικούς χώρους δημόσιας χρήσης, πεδία συλλογικότητας και εκτόνωσης για την πόλη, και γι’ αυτό εμπλέκονται ενεργά στη δημόσια σφαίρα και στέκονται δίπλα στον αστικό δημόσιο χώρο.	el
heal.abstract	Urban space nowadays is being characterized by an ongrowing complexity, which sees the boundaries between public and private becoming less and less distinct, having functions transferred towards both directions. We are therefore observing the emergence of new urban transformations, places of hybrid nature between public and private.Within the course of the lecture, we studied two such places of hybrid nature with a strong presence in the Athenian landscape, Marina Flisvos at Faliro and the multiplex Escape Center in Ilion. These two places gather all the new trends in the field of consumption, which is nowadays more than ever targeted towards entertainment, offering a wide variety of activities to visitors, along with an outdoor promenade, a characteristic generally associated with public space. The timeframe of the study was one year, starting in May 2013 and ending in May 2014, through field research, both through personal observation and through questionnaires distributed to a sample of 100 users. Studying the heterogeneous elements that make up the identity of these sites and evaluating the answers of the users, we attempted to synthesize their identity as hybrid environments. Exploring their public characteristics and social character in combination with the features resulting from their private nature, we realize that although they are predominantly consumerist in nature, they have public space characteristics and they are creating publicity. These sites are private spaces for public use, fields of collectivity and relief for the city, and therefore they are actively involved in the public sphere standing next to genuine urban public space.	en
