dc.description.abstract	Αντικείμενο της μεταπτυχιακής εργασίας ειναι η διερεύνηση της επίδρασης της γωνίας διαστολικότητας στα αποτελέσματα στατικών και κυρίως σεισμικών αναλύσεων ευστάθειας πρανών. Οι αναλύσεις ΄έγιναν για ένα μονοκλινές, αμμώδες επίχωμα με βάση αναλυτικές και αριθμητικές μεθόδους για διάφορες τιμές γωνίας τριβής και γωνίας διαστολικότητας. Τελος έγινε η σύγκριση των μεθόδων και η αξιολόγηση της σχέσης των Drescher & Detournay, 1993 που εισάγει τη γωνία διαστολικότητας στους αναλυτικούς υπολογισμούς.	el
dc.description.abstract	This diploma thesis presents the effect of soil dilatancy on the results of slope stability analysis under static and mainly seismic conditions. The analyses were conducted for a lanfill made of sand using two dimensional limit equilibrium and finite difference methods for a number of combinations of the angle of friction and the dilatancy angle. Comparison of the results of the two types of analysis was then made, as well as the verification of the relationship concerning the dilatancy angle by Drescher & Detournay, 1993, who tried to include the dialatancy angle in the calculations.	en
