heal.abstract	Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία εξετάζει τη μη γραμμική συμπεριφορά επίπεδων φορέων από χάλυβα βάσει της θεωρίας ελαστικής ευστάθειας. Βασικό αντικείμενο της διπλωματικής εργασίας, είναι ο υπολογισμός των κρίσιμων φορτίων και η εξαγωγή των ιδιομορφών λυγισμού (γραμμική θεωρία) κάνοντας χρήση των αποτελεσμάτων στη μη γραμμική μας ανάλυση. Ειδικότερα, στο κεφάλαιο 1 γίνεται μια εισαγωγή στο θεωρητικό υπόβαθρο της Θεωρίας Ελαστικής Ευστάθειας και δίνονται οι απαραίτητες πληροφορίες που χρειάζονται για την κατανόηση των υπολοίπων κεφαλαίων. Στο κεφάλαιο 2, ασχολούμαστε με τον καμπτικό λυγισμό ευθύγραμμων ράβδων, βάσει της μη γραμμικής θεωρίας και μελετάμε τις επιδράσεις των συνοριακών συνθηκών στην παραμορφωσιακή κατάσταση των μελών. Στο κεφάλαιο 3, αφού πρώτα προσομοιώσουμε το χαλύβδινο φορέα μας, εφαρμόζουμε την ενεργειακή μέθοδο για τη μελέτη της ελαστικής ευστάθειας του φορέα μας, σύμφωνα με τη θεωρία των μετρίως μεγάλων μετατοπίσεων. Επιπρόσθετα, εξετάζουμε την επίδραση της ατέλειας στον υπό μελέτη φορέα και παραθέτουμε τους δρόμους ισορροπίας αυτού. Στο κεφάλαιο 4, παρατίθενται συνοπτικά τα συμπεράσματα που εξήχθησαν από την παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία. Τέλος, στα παραρτήματα γίνονται εκτενείς αναφορές της χρήσης των λογισμικών που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν (SAP2000 & MATLAB).	el
heal.abstract	The presented diploma thesis examines the non-linear behavior of plane steel frames according to the theory of elastic stability. Fundamental objective of the thesis is the calculation of the critical loads and the export of buckling eigenmodes, using results in our non-linear analysis. Especially, in the first chapter an introduction on theoretical background is presented in theory of elastic stability and all the necessary details which are needed in understanding of the next chapters are given. In the second chapter, we are dealing with the flexural buckling of straight bars according to non-linear theory and a study is performed on the effects of boundary conditions on deformations of the member. In the third chapter, having simulated our model, the energy method for elastic stability is performed, based on theory of intermediate class of deformations. In addition, the influence of initial imperfections is examined in our model and the equilibrium paths of our model are presented. In the fourth chapter, we summarize the conclusions exported from this thesis. Furthermore, there are two annexes where extensive referenences are given regarding the ulitizeed software suites (SAP2000 & MATLAB) in the course of the experimentation and model developing.	en
