heal.abstract	Η διπλωματική αυτή πραγματεύεται την ομάδα των Ρομά που κατοικεί στη Λάρισα, στον οικισμό της Νέας Σμύρνης, τη σχέση της με το χώρο που κατοικεί και οικειοποιείται καθώς και τα προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζει. Βάσει των συμπερασμάτων, γίνεται μια πρόταση, που αφορά στους τομείς της απασχόλησης, της εκπαίδευσης, του πολιτισμού και του δημοσίου χώρου. Οι Ρομά αποτελούν μια πολύ ιδιαίτερη ομάδα, που μέχρι σήμερα εξακολουθούν και ζουν σε συνθήκες που τους έχουν στιγματίσει. Οι μελετητές τείνουν να τους αντιμετωπίζουν με μια ρομαντική οπτική και οι πολιτικές που ακολουθούνται είτε δεν είναι κατάλληλες, είτε δεν εφαρμόζονται κι έτσι δεν υπάρχει καμία διαφοροποίηση της κατάστασης. Το πρόβλημα είναι πολυσύνθετο, η διαφορετικότητα και η ιδιαιτερότητά της ομάδας τους επηρεάζει κάθε πτυχή του τρόπου ζωής τους. Τα τελευταία χρόνια, γίνονται σημαντικές προσπάθειες από τους φορείς και λαμβάνουν υποστήριξη από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση. Μια πρόταση βελτίωσης της υφιστάμενης κατάστασης όμως απαιτεί προσεκτική μελέτη της καθώς και των αιτιών που οδήγησαν σε αυτή. Ως γενικοί στόχοι της διπλωματικής τίθενται η αναβάθμιση του αστικού ιστού, η άρση των αποκλεισμών, η ενίσχυση των κοινωνικών δομών και η σύνδεση της περιοχής εγκατάστασης των Ρομά με την πόλη της Λάρισας.	el
heal.abstract	This diploma project deals with the Romani group which resides in the city of Larisa, at the neighbourhood of New Smyrni, its relation with the space which they seize and live in, as well as the problems they come up against. Based on the conclusions, there is attempted a proposal at the areas of employment, education, culture and public space. Romani people constitute a very particular group, which till nowadays keeps on living under very specific conditions, a fact that has stigmatized them. The researchers tend to face them in a romantic mood and the followed policies are either not proper or not applied, so no difference of the situation is made. The problem is complex, the diversity and specificity of the group, affects every aspect of their way of living. The last few years, there have been made significant attempts by the carriers, as they receive support by the European Union. A proposal, so that the situation will be improved, requires detailed study of the situation and the causes that leaded to the nowadays condition. The urban network’s upgrade, the exclusions’ obviation, the social structures’ reinforcement and the connection between the Romani residence and the rest of the city constitute the general objectives of the diploma project.	en
