Ανάπτυξη Συστήματος Διαχείρισης Μνημείων Πολιτισικής Κληρονομιάς-Εφαρμογή στην Αρχαία Αγορά των Αθηνών

Abstract

Αντικείμενο τθσ παροφςασ διπλωματικισ εργαςίασ είναι θ ανάπτυξθ ενόσ Υυςτιματοσ Διαχείριςθσ Σολιτιςτικισ Μλθρονομιάσ που ςχεδιάςτθκε και υλοποιικθκε για τθν Αρχαία Αγορά τθσ Ακινασ. Φο πρϊτο μζροσ τθσ εργαςίασ αφοροφςε ςτον εννοιολογικό, λογικό και φυςικό ςχεδιαςμό μιασ Βάςθσ Δεδομζνων ικανισ να ςυνδυάηει δεδομζνα που αφοροφν ςε γενικζσ αλλά και πιο εξειδικευμζνεσ πλθροφορίεσ για τα Ξνθμεία του Αρχαιολογικοφ Χϊρου, όπωσ μετρθτικά δεδομζνα. Για τθν ορκι ανάπτυξι τθσ Βάςθσ ελιφκθςαν υπόψθ πολλοί και διαφορετικοί παράγοντεσ, με πρωταρχικό τισ ανάγκεσ και επικυμίεσ των χρθςτϊν τθσ εφαρμογισ. Αμζςωσ μετά το ςχεδιαςμό, το ςφςτθμα αναπτφχκθκε ςε υπολογιςτικό περιβάλλον με τθ χριςθ των κατάλλθλων λογιςμικϊν. Θ υλοποίθςι του πραγματοποιικθκε ςε δφο ςτάδια, ζνα που περιελάμβανε τθ δθμιουργία ενόσ Υυςτιματοσ Γεωγραφικϊν Σλθροφοριϊν ςτο ArcGIS - ESRI και ζνα επόμενο με τθ δθμιουργία μιασ Βάςθσ Δεδομζνων ςτθ Microsoft Access. Υτο Υ.Γ.Σ. ςχεδιάςτθκαν τα χωρικά ςτοιχεία τθσ Βάςθσ πάνω ςε γεωαναφερμζνα χαρτογραφικά υπόβακρα, κακζνα από τα οποία απεικονίηει τα κτιρια τθσ Αγοράσ ςε μια διαφορετικι ιςτορικι περίοδο. Θ Βάςθ Δεδομζνων αποτελείται από 27 βαςικοφσ πίνακεσ ςτουσ οποίουσ αποκθκεφτθκαν οι περιγραφικζσ πλθροφορίεσ. Μάκε εγγραφι ςτουσ πίνακεσ είναι ςυνδεδεμζνθ με τθ ςχεδιαςτικι μορφι των χαρτϊν ςτθν οποία αναφζρεται. Θ ςφνδεςθ των ςτοιχείων ζγινε με κριτιριο τθ χρονικι περίοδο ςτθν οποία αναφζρεται κάκε πλθροφορία. Ρι δφο εφαρμογζσ ςυνδζονται και αλλθλεπιδροφν, ενϊ μποροφν να λειτουργιςουν και ανεξάρτθτα, αναλόγωσ τισ ανάγκεσ του εκάςτοτε χριςτθ. Φζλοσ, αναπτφχκθκε μία ακόμθ εφαρμογι ςε JavaScript για τθν άμεςθ παρουςίαςθ των δεδομζνων που είναι αποκθκευμζνα ςτθ Βάςθ. Φο ςφςτθμα είναι διακζςιμο ςτθν Α’ Εφορία Σροϊςτορικϊν και Μλαςικϊν Αρχαιοτιτων για μελλοντικι χριςθ.

The objective of this Diploma thesis is the development of a Cultural Heritage Information Management System that was designed and implemented according to the needs of the Ancient Athenian Agora. The first stage of the project was related to the conceptual, logical and physical design of a Database capable of combining data that include general information about the Monuments of the Archaeological Site and more specialized ones, such as metric data. For the sensible development of the Database many factors were taken into account, but mainly the demands and wishes of the future users of the application. After its design, the system was developed in computer environment, using the appropriate software. The implementation was carried out in two stages, one that included the creation of a Geographic Information System using ArcGIS - ESRI and a next one creating a Database in Microsoft Access. In the GIS they were designed the spatial data of the Database on georeferenced cartographic layers, each one of which depicts the buildings of the Agora in a different era. The Database consists of 27 basic tables, where they are stored the descriptive information of the system. Every entry on the tables is connected with the design from in the map to which it refers. The relation of the data was done according to the era each information refers to. These two applications are related and they interact, while they can also perform independently, according to the needs of each user. Finally, another application was developed in JavaScript for the direct presentation of the data stored in the Database. The system is available in the 1st Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities for future use.
