heal.abstract	Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία αφορά τον σχεδιασμό ενός νέου «Μοναστηριού-Σπουδαστηρίου» στο Νησί Ιωαννίνων. Το θέμα ακουμπά πάνω στην μακραίωνη παράδοση των μοναστηριών του Νησιού ως ταυτόχρονα θρησκευτικά κέντρα και εκπαιδευτήρια λαϊκών τεχνών και έχει στόχο την αναβίωση ακριβώς αυτού του διμερούς τους χαρακτήρα. Το νέο μοναστήρι δανείζεται από την παράδοση αυτή τον όρο «Σπουδαστήριο» και, με τον τρόπο αυτό, απευθύνεται εν τη γεννέσει του σε δύο κοινότητες: αυτή των μοναχών (θρησκευτικό κέντρο) και εκείνη των κοσμικών (εργαστήρια λαϊκών τεχνών). Μαζί με την εσωστρέφεια που επιτάσσει ο μαναστικός βίος γεννάται, λοιπόν, εδώ ευθύς εξ’ αρχής μια διαρκώς ανατροφοδοτούμενη διαδικασία συνδιαλλαγής του μέσα με το έξω. Ο ιδιότυπος αυτός χαρακτήρας αποτελεί τον πυρήνα της σχεδιαστικής προσέγγισης, με το βάρος να πέφτει στις διαδοχικές συνθήκες μετάβασης και στις παράλληλες διαδικασίες οικειοποίησης του χώρου.	el
heal.abstract	The present diploma project is about the design of a new “Monastery-Artisan workshop” in the island of Ioannina. The thesis is lying on the deep tradition of the monasteries of the Island which function as monastic and craft’s centers at the same time and its aim is to revive this dual character afresh. The new monastery borrows from traditional practice the term ”artisan workshop” which forms its ability to address to both the monk community (as religious center) and the community of the Island (as educational center of arts and crafts). Along with the enclosure of the monastic life comes, here, an everlasting relation of two-way feedback between the inside and the outside. This idiotype character is the core of the designing process which tries to stress out the condition of successive transitions as well as that of successive appropriation of space.	en
