heal.abstract	Η πράσινη γραμμή στη πόλη της Λευκωσίας είναι ουσιαστικά ένα κενό, υπάρχει αλλά δεν μπορείς να κάνεις κάτι μαζί του. Στη διπλωματική αυτή γίνεται μια προσπάθεια να μετασχηματιστεί το «κενό», με διάφορα συστήματα μετασχηματισμού. Ο σχεδιασμός του masterplan, στοχεύει να υπενθυμίσει την ύπαρξη της πράσινης γραμμής με απώτερο σκοπό τον επαναπροσδιορισμό του ορίου. Η υλοποίηση του στόχου αυτού γίνεται με τη δημιουργία εφήμερων τοιχίων που τοποθετούνται κάθετα στην πράσινη γραμμή και εκατέρωθεν του ορίου δημιουργώντας νέες εξαναγκαστικές πορείες, αντίστοιχες με αυτές που είχε δημιουργήσει η χάραξη της πράσινης γραμμής. Η τοποθέτηση των τοιχίων οργανώνει έναν άξονα πολιτισμού που έρχεται να τοποθετηθεί παράλληλα με την πράσινη γραμμή, προτρέποντας τους πολίτες να κινηθούν κατά μήκος της, θυμίζοντας τους τη βίαιη και αφύσικη διακοπή του ιστού της πόλης της Λευκωσίας. Ένα μέρος των τοιχίων εισβάλουν σε εγκαταλελειμμένα κελύφη οπου μέσα από τις λειτουργίες τους προσπαθούν να επαναπροσδιορίσουν την ύπαρξη της πράσινης γραμμής.	el
heal.abstract	The green line in the city of Nicosia is basically a vacuum. It exist but no one can do anything with it. This project attempts to transform the "vacuum", with various transformation systems. The design of the master plan, tries to recall the existence of the Green Line in order to redefine the boundary. To achieve this goal, ephemeral walls are created and placed vertically on the Green Line and on both sides of the boundary, creating new forced marches, similar to those created by the establishment of the Green Line. The placement of the walls organize a cultural axis that is placed parallel to the green line, urging citizens to move along, reminding them the violent and unnatural disruption of the city of Nicosia. A part of the walls “invades”in abandoned buildings. Their new uses are trying to redefine the existence of the Green Line. 1. The old hotel "Olympus", located in the hub of the union of two regions, the busiest street in town, Ledra Street, is turned into a multi-functional center. 2. Similarly, in a complex of buildings in Dionysos Street, a collective kitchen is organized. 3. At the end of the cultural axis, createdby the ephemeral walls, an observatory is placed. The Observatory urges the visitor to turn his gaze to the green line and consider what is ultimately the purpose of its existence.	en
