heal.abstract	Η διπλωματική αφορά στον τρόπο κατοίκησης στο κέντρο της Αθήνας, προτείνοντας μια μονοκατοικία με δύο χαρακτηριστικά. Το πρώτο αναφέρεται στην πρόσθετη χρήση που μπορεί να φέρει μια κατοικία, η οποία στην προκειμένη περίπτωση ονομάζεται "ξενώνας". Πρόκειται για μία μορφή συμβίωσης μεταξύ ιδιοκτητών και "φιλοξενούμενων". Με τον τρόπο αυτό τίθεται το θέμα της ένταξης όχι μόνο της κατοικίας σε επίπεδο γειτονιάς, αλλά και του ίδιου του χρήστη στην πόλη του. Το δεύτερο χαρακτηριστικό εστιάζει στη μεταβλητότητα που μπορεί να έχει ένα κέλυφος ώστε να ανταποκρίνεται στις ανάγκες του εκάστοτε χρήστη ή της δεδομένης χρονικής στιγμής. Μια κατοικία σε τυπολογία Γ ή Π μπορεί εύκολα να διαιρεθεί σε δύο κατοικίες ή να χρησιμοποιηθεί μόνο ένα μέρος της, απομονώνοντας το υπόλοιπο. Με αυτόν τον τρόπο εξοικονομείται ενέργεια και αποφεύγεται το φαινόμενο των αχρησιμοποίητων χώρων. Η μεταβλητότητα όμως αναφέρεται και στο εσωτερικό, αφού η ευελιξία γίνεται ευκολότερη όταν πρόκειται για ενιαίους χώρους. Ο διαχωρισμός σε υποχώρους, εάν κριθεί απαραίτητος, μπορεί να επιτευχθεί με πανέλα, ελαφριά φερόμενα στοιχεία ή και έπιπλα. Τα έπιπλα από την άλλη μπορεί να έχουν έναν πολυχρηστικό χαρακτήρα ή να ενσωματώνονται σε άλλα στοιχεία. Πρόκειται για μια εργασία η οποία δεν έχει στόχο την ανάδειξη μιας καινοτόμας αρχιτεκτονικής, αλλά την προώθηση μιας νέας αντίληψης σχετικά με την αντιμετώπιση της ζωής σε μία πόλη.	el
heal.abstract	The thesis is about the way of living in the centre of Athens, suggesting a house with two fundamental features. The first one refers to the extra use of a house, which in this case is called a «guest room». It proposes a coexistence between the owners and the «guests». This raises the issue of accession not only of the residence in relation with the neighborhood, but also of the user in his city. The second feature focuses on the variability that a shell can have if reciprocating to the needs of each user or a given moment. A house in typology Γ or Π can easily be divided into two parts or allow the use of one part, by isolating the rest. Thereby, the family saves energy and avoids the phenomenon of unused spaces. Variability also refers to the inside, when flexibility occurs by open spaces. Separation into subspaces, if necessary, can be achieved with panels, light weight elements or furniture. The furniture on the other hand may have a multifunctional character or be integrated into other elements. This is a work with one objective. Not the emerge of an innovative architectural idea, but the promotion of a whole new vision of how to cope with life in the city.	en
