heal.abstract	Η παρούσα έρευνα εξετάζει τη λειτουργία της οπτικής αντίληψης σε συνάρτηση με την αρχιτεκτονική. Παρουσιάζει τις βασικές θεωρίες που εξηγούν το πολύπλοκο αυτό φαινόμενο, με έμφαση στη θεωρία Gestalt. Περιγράφει τη διαδικασία της οράσεως και τους ψυχολογικούς παράγοντες που παρεμβαίνουν σε αυτήν. Εισάγει τον αναγνώστη στις βασικές έννοιες της ψυχολογίας του χώρου και των μορφών. Αποδεικνύει το αληθές της ευρύτατης εφαρμογής των αντιληπτικών αρχών στην αρχιτεκτονική, τόσο στο χώρο όσο και στο χρόνο. Εκθέτει διεξοδικά τις αρχές της θεωρίας Gestalt και στη συνέχεια εξετάζει τις εφαρμογές τους στον αρχιτεκτονικό σχεδιασμό. Τέλος, τονίζει τη σημασία της αισθητικής διερεύνησης παράλληλα με τη λειτουργική, υποστηρίζοντας στην ουσία την ενοποίηση των δύο αυτών φαινομενικά διακριτών διεργασιών.	el
heal.abstract	This research examines the function of visual perception in association with architecture. It presents the main theories that explain this complex phenomenon, with emphasis on the Gestalt theory. It describes the process of vision and the psychological factors that are interpolated in it. It introduces the reader to the basic concepts of psychology of form and space. It proves the fact of the worldwide application of the perceptual principles in architecture, both in space and in time. It explains in detail the principles of the Gestalt theory and examines their utility in architectural design. Finally, it stresses the importance of the aesthetic investigation alongside the functional, essentially concluding to the unification of these two seemingly separate processes.	en
