heal.abstract	Στόχος της παρούσας ερευνητικής εργασίας είναι να διερευνηθεί η δυνατότητα μετάφρασης από τη μουσική στην αρχιτεκτονική. Μέσα από τη γλωσσολογική προσέγγιση της φύσης της μετάφρασης, προέκυψε ως ελάχιστο απαιτούμενο, για τη μετάφραση της τέχνης, η ταυτόχρονη αναπαραγωγή μορφής και περιεχομένου στη γλώσσα-στόχο. Εισάγεται η έννοια του «ερμηνευτικού πλαισίου» της εκάστοτε γλώσσας, σύμφωνα με την οποία η μορφή αντιστοιχίζεται σε ένα συγκεκριμένο περιεχόμενο, και προστίθεται στα απαιτούμενα η ομοιότητα των ερμηνευτικών πλαισίων των δύο γλωσσών. Όμως η φυσική του ήχου και του φωτός, καθώς και η αντίληψή τους από τον άνθρωπο υπαγορεύουν καταλυτικές διαφορές ανάμεσα στα ερμηνευτικά πλαίσια της μουσικής και της αρχιτεκτονικής, καθιστώντας τη μεταξύ τους μετάφραση αδύνατη, σύμφωνα με το παρόν ερευνητικό πρίσμα. Η εργασία ολοκληρώνεται αφενός με ιστορική αναδρομή στις διαφορετικές απόψεις αναφορικά με την ομοιότητα των δύο ερμηνευτικών πλαισίων, αφετέρου με οπτικοακουστικά πειράματα, και τέλος με μελέτες περιπτώσεων αρχιτεκτονικών έργων που είτε επιχειρούν την εν λόγω μετάφραση είτε, καταχρηστικά, τους αποδίδεται αυτή η ιδιότητα. Κεντρικό συμπέρασμα είναι τόσο η αδυναμία μετάφρασης μεταξύ μουσικής και αρχιτεκτονικής, όσο και συνολικά η εξάρτηση της επιτυχίας του έργου τέχνης από τις επιλογές του δημιουργού του και όχι από τις ιδιότητες του αντικειμένου αναφοράς.	el
heal.abstract	This research paper has been conducted in order to explore if it is possible to translate music into architecture. Throughout the linguistic approach of the nature of translation, the simultaneous reproduction of both form and content in the target-language emerged as the minimum requirement for art being translated. The notion of the "interpretative context" of each language is inserted, according to which the form is assigned to a specific content and as a result, the resemblance of the interpretative contexts of the two languages is added up to the requirement. According to this research prism however, the physics of sound and light and the way humans perceive them, create catalytic differences between the interpretative context of music and the interpretative context of architecture, rendering the translation between them impossible. The paper concludes firstly with the review of the different views regarding the resemblance of the two interpretative contexts, secondly with audiovisual experiments, and ends up with case studies of architectural projects that either attempt this translation or are abusively accredited with this attribute. The main conclusion is the inability to translate between music and architecture, as well as the fact that the success of the artwork is totally based on the artist's choices rather than on the properties of the object of reference.	en
