heal.abstract	Γίνεται μία προσπάθεια να αναλυθούν τα νέα μέσα και τεχνολογίες που βοηθούν και αποτελούν συνεργάτη μας στην διαδικασία σύνθεσης μέσα από πέντε παραδείγματα αστικού παραμετρικού σχεδιασμού. Η εργασία διερευνά τον ρόλο που έχουν οι αρχιτέκτονες στη σύγχρονη ψηφιακή πραγματικότητα, καθώς και πως τα νέα εννοιολογικά και ψηφιακά εργαλεία που έχουν δημιουργηθεί μπορούν να βοηθήσουν για τη δημιουργία των πόλεων του μέλλοντος.	el
heal.abstract	The first aim of this lecture is to discover the role of computers in the new digital era we are living in, as well as how computers and computational design in general, can be our "assistant" in the architectural procedure. It is a well known fact that architects have to make a "retreat" for the citizen and habitant of the city, because the latter is the one that changes the city the way he wants to. Via five examples of parametric urbanism we tried to present five different architectural perspectives on how the cities of the present and the future can be. These projects differ. Some of them are from famous architects, while some others are from architects that neither of us knew before this lecture. Our goal is to show the potential of the computational methods, and how this can be the base for cities of the future.
