heal.abstract	Κάθε τόπος κουβαλάει τη δική του ιστορία, τη δική του μνήμη∙ αλλοιώνεται, μεταβάλλεται, εγκαταλείπεται, ανασυνθέτεται, αναδημιουργείται, επαναχρησιμοποιείται. Όλες αυτές οι αλλαγές–μεταβολές συνθέτουν αποτυπώματα όλων των χεριών που έχουν επέμβει σε αυτόν, δημιουργούν επιστρώσεις ιστορίας και μνήμης. Δύο σύγχρονοι αρχιτέκτονες, ο David Chipperfield και ο Peter Zumthor, συνθέτουν τη συνέχεια δύο ιστορικών τόπων της Γερμανίας, προσθέτοντας τη στρώση της δικής μας γενιάς. Δύο αρχιτέκτονες που αντιμετωπίζουν τους δύο τόπους, σε Βερολίνο και Κολωνία αντίστοιχα, με τόλμη και δυναμισμό, με διαφορετικό τρόπο ο καθένας, βάζει την προσωπική του υπογραφή. Χωρίς να ακολουθούν λύσεις τετριμμένες, επαναλαμβανόμενες που στηρίζονται στους “οδηγούς” των διάφορων Χαρτών. Επαναπροσδιορίζουν την αντιμετώπιση του παλιού με το νέο, αναζητούν μια διαφορετική σχέση που σέβεται πάντα την ιστορία και τη μνήμη. Έτσι, με στόχο την επανερμηνεία της σχέσης του “τότε” με το “τώρα”, προσφέρουν δύο μοναδικά αρχιτεκτονήματα, το Neues Museum και το Kolumba Museum.	el
heal.abstract	Every place carries its own history and its own memory; it is destroyed, changed, abandoned, reconstructed, rebuilt and reused. All these changes compose the imprints-changes of all the hands that have intervened therein, creating layers of history and memory. Two contemporary architects, David Chipperfield and Peter Zumthor, are synthesizing the continuity of two historic sites in Germany, adding the layer of our generation. The two architects are facing the two sites, one in Berlin and one in Cologne respectively, boldly and dynamically, each one in a different way, putting their own signature, without following common, repeatable solutions based on the “guides” of various Charters. They redefine the treatment of old and new, looking for a new relationship between them, that always respects the history and memory. So, in order to reinterpret the relationship between the “past” and the “present” they are creating two unique architecture works, the Neues Museum and the Kolumba Museum.	en
