heal.abstract	Η διπλωματική αφορά το σχεδιασμό ενός αρχαιολογικού μουσείου για τη γειτονιά της Ακαδημίας Πλάτωνος. Η εύρεση του συνδετικού κρίκου ανάμεσα στους δύο κόσμους που συνυπάρχουν σήμερα σε αυτόν τον τόπο υπήρξε, εξαρχής, σημείο έμπνευσης. Μεταξύ του ζωντανού πάρκου της πόλης και του αρχαιολογικού πλούτου που δεν σχετίζεται άμεσα με τη ζωή του πάρκου. Στο πάρκο της Ακαδημίας Πλάτωνος, αναγνωρίσαμε δύο χαρακτηριστικά που μας προκάλεσαν το ενδιαφέρον και η ουσιαστική συνύπαρξή τους αποτέλεσε ως το τέλος το κύριο μέλημά μας: από τη μια εντοπίσαμε ένα ιδιαίτερα ζωντανό για τη γειτονιά πάρκο και από την άλλη έναν κρυμμένο αρχαιολογικό πλούτο με υπερτοπική ακτινοβολία που σήμερα όμως δεν σχετίζεται άμεσα με την καθημερινή ζωή του πάρκου και παραμένει κρυμμένο πίσω από τις ψηλές περιφράξεις των αποθηκών που βρίσκονται στα πέριξ του χώρου πρασίνου. Η εύρεση του συνδετικού κρίκου ανάμεσα σε αυτούς τους δύο κόσμους που συνυπάρχουν σήμερα στην Ακαδημία Πλάτωνος μας οδήγησε, προοδευτικά, στο να σχεδιάσουμε ένα αρχαιολογικό μουσείο που επιχειρεί να αναδείξει τον αρχαίο κόσμο, διατηρώντας τη ζωντάνια του σημερινού.	el
heal.abstract	Our diploma project is a proposal for an archaeological museum referring to the neighborhood of Plato’s Academy. From the start our main concern was to find the missing link between the two worlds which coexist today in the park and its surrounding area. A connection rejoining the lively city park and the archaeological treasures that remain hidden and unattended for. In the park of the Academy we noticed two features which we found crucial to preserve: Firstly, the well rooted everyday life of the inhabitants of the neighboring apartment blocks who use the park in their daily life and make it a lively public space. And secondly, there lies a massive archaeological wealth which exceeds the sphere of local interest and remains hidden behind the tall enclosures of the archaeological storehouses in the vicinity of the park or the neglected, overgrown plants which cover the architectural remains in the park. Having these in mind, this diploma project aims to unveil the ancient world through retaining the contemporary, through proposing a museum with local and hyperlocal glow and making the least interventions possible to the park, which aim to highlight the archaeological remains that exist in the area and bring them out as a continuation of the unification of archaeological spaces in the city of Athens.	en
