heal.abstract	Στη προσπάθειά μας να εντάξουμε τα δρώμενα με οργανωμένο τρόπο ως σχεδιαστικό εργαλείο στον αστικό χώρο, επιλέγουμε τη πόλη της Ελευσίνας, η οποία αποτελεί γόνιμο έδαφος για να καρποφορησει το άνθος του πολιτισμού και της δημιουργικότητας. Η αναγέννηση της πόλης τους καλοκαιρινούς μήνες μέσα από τις πολιτιστικές εκδηλώσεις που διοργανώνονται, αντικαθιστά το έρημο τοπίο κυρίως του παραλιακού μετώπου που επικρατεί το χειμώνα και τα δρώμενα έρχονται να συγκροτήσουν ένα διαφορετικό χαρακτήρα της πόλης. Με αυτή τη διττή έκφραση της πόλης, συνδέσαμε το μύθο tτης θεάς Δήμητρας και της Κόρης της, που διαδραματίζεται στην Ελευσίνα και συμβολίζει την επανάληψη της ζωής στις δύο πλευρές της γης. Έτσι το σενάριο παρέμβασής μας βασίστηκε σε αυτά τα ισχυρά δίπολα του μύθου, νοηματοδοτώντας δύο διαδρομές στον αστικό ιστό, που με τη σειρά τους συνδέονται με τα Μικρά και Μεγάλα Ελευσίνια Μυστήρια και τους συμβολισμούς που αυτά περιείχαν. Στις απολήξεις των δύο αυτών διαδρομών διαμορφώνουμε χώρους φιλόξενους που θα υποδεχτούν δρώμενα, με κύρια έμφαση στο τμήμα του παραλιακού μετώπου που διαμορφώνουμε όπου επιχειρούμε ένα σβήσιμο της πόλης προς τη θάλασσα και μία ομαλή μετάβαση από το σκληρό υλικό της πόλης στο ρευστό και εφήμερο τοπίο του φυσικού στοιχείου του νερού. Επιδιώκουμε το στοιχείο της φύσης να διαβρώσει τις σκληρές επιφάνειες της πόλης και γιαυτό δημιουργούμε εσοχές σαν αυτές να έχουν προκύψει λόγω της φθράς από το νερό. Τέλος, διερευνούμε πως τα δρώμενα μπορούν να διαχυθούν στη πόλη μέσα από ένα διαδραστικό σύστημα από αισθητήρες.	el
heal.abstract	In our attempt to include perfomances with an organized way as a means of urban design, we choose the town of Eleusis, which is a fertile ground for the seed of culture and creativity to grow. The rebirth of the town during the summer through the cultural events which are being organised, replaces the deserted landscape, especially that of the seafront, which dominates during the winter and the performances come to compose a different character of the city. So, we connected the myth of Mother Demeter and Daughter Persephone placed in Eleusis symbolising the cycle of life between the two sides of the earth, with this double expression of the city. Therefore, our intervention scenario is based upon those powerful bipolar symbolisms within the myth. We give a special meaning in two routes in the urban space, according to the concepts of the Greater and Lesser Eleusinian Mysteries. In the endings of those two routes, we design inviting places able to host public events, focusing in the part of the seafront, where we attempt a gradual transition of the hard city material to the fluid and ephemeral landscape of the natural element of water. The edge where the city meets the water is redefined so as to create an image as if the water has corroded the hardscape, by forming extrusions and recesses in it. Finally we investigate how performances will be able to permeate through the city with an interactive system of wireless connections and infrared sensors.	en
