heal.abstract	L’objectif de ce projet de fin d’études est la compréhension, l’analyse et l’évaluation du fonctionnement de l’autoroute A4 en Ile-de-France. Cette autoroute, concédée à la SANEF depuis Noisy-le-Grand, constitue l’artère principale du réseau routier est et l’axe structurant de la ville nouvelle de Marne-la-Vallée. La dégradation importante des conditions de circulation de l’A4 le long de l’itinéraire entre Paris et la ville nouvelle présente une problématique complexe et nous mène à suivre une approche à deux volets. D’abord, il s’agit d’une évaluation du contexte territorial afin de comprendre l’évolution et l’affectation de la demande de déplacement sur notre périmètre d’étude. En outre, on effectue une étude analytique des caractéristiques d’écoulement du trafic à l’échelle de la section routière considérant les particularités du fonctionnement de chaque voie. On vise à comprendre la liaison entre des facteurs qui découlent de l’aménagement territorial, tels que l’importance du trafic régulier en heure de pointe, la multiplication de points d’échange ou l’homogénéité des flux de trafic, et la performance de l’autoroute en termes de fluidité et de capacité. Ce travail contribuera enfin à l’élaboration de la stratégie de gestion du trafic de l’axe et donnera au concessionnaire une vue détaillée des problématiques locaux ainsi qu’une vue synthétique du fonctionnement macroscopique de l’autoroute A4.	fr
heal.abstract	This dissertation aims to comprehend, analyze and evaluate the operation of the A4 highway in the Ile-de-France region. The A4 highway, conceded to SANEF operating company from the city Noisy-le-Grand to the east, constitutes the principal artery of the road network and the major structuring line of the Marne-la-Vallée “new city”. As the deterioration of the traffic flow conditions in the section between Paris and the “new city” represents henceforth a multifactorial issue, a two level analysis is here being conducted. Firstly, the territorial context is evaluated in order to further comprehend the evolution of the traffic demand and its assignment on the case study area. Furthermore, the functioning particularities of each road lane are brought into focus so as to analyze the traffic flow characteristics of each road section. We aim to understand the interactions between factors deriving from city planning, such as the importance of regular traffic in rush hour, the multiplication of access points or the homogeneity of traffic flows, and the highway performance, in terms of its fluidity and capacity. This work will contribute to the elaboration of a traffic management strategy, frame local issues and provide the operating company with an overview of the macroscopic functioning of the A4 highway.	en
