heal.abstract	Στόχος της παρούσας εργασίας είναι να παρουσιάσει και να αναλύσει ενδεικτικά παραδείγματα κλίμακας σε διάφορα επιμέρους πολιτιστικά και γεωγραφικά πλαίσια με διαφορετική αρχιτεκτονική ύφη, σύσταση, χαρακτήρα, λειτουργία και αισθητική. Την πρώτη περίπτωση αποτελεί η μνημειακή κλίμακα στην Περσέπολη η οποία λειτουργούσε ως επίσημη είσοδος στο κέντρο διοίκησης του περσικού βασιλείου. Η εν λόγω κλίμακα παρουσιάζει μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον στον τρόπο με τον οποίο η λειτουργικότητα και ο συμβολισμός μπορούν να συνυπάρχουν και να συλλειτουργούν. Ακολουθεί το αξιοσημείωτο παράδειγμα μνημειακής κλίμακας της Μεγάλης Αψίδας του Παρισιού η οποία αποτελεί ένα από τα πιο ισχυρά σημεία αναφοράς του δημοσίου χώρου της γαλλικής πρωτεύουσας και λειτουργεί ως τόπος συνεύρεσης και συγκέντρωσης πολιτών. Από την άλλη, θα αναλυθούν δύο λιθογραφίες του Ολλανδού καλλιτέχνη Έσερ στις οποίες αναπαριστά απίθανες κλίμακες σε χρήση από ανθρώπους οι οποίοι ακολουθούν τους απίθανους νόμους που θέτει ο καλλιτέχνης. Το τέταρτο παράδειγμα αποτελούν οι βαθμιδωτές κατασκευές (Γκατ) στις όχθες του ποταμού Γάγγη στην πόλη Βαρανάσι στην Ινδία οι οποίες οδηγούν προς αυτόν και λειτουργούν κυρίως ως χώροι αποτέφρωσης νεκρών και ιεροτελεστικής πλύσης. Τέλος, θα αναλυθεί η περίπτωση της κλίμακας της οικίας Μαλαπάρτε η οποία συνδέεται έντονα με τη μνήμη του ιδιοκτήτη και αποτελεί την υλοποιημένη μορφή του χαρακτήρα και των αισθημάτων του.	el
heal.abstract	The aim of this paper is to present and examine exemplary cases of stairs and staircases in different, partially cultural and geographical contexts, with diverse architectural styles, texture, character, function and aesthetics. The first case is the monumental staircase of Persepolis, which functioned as the official entrance to the command center of the Persian kingdom. The staircase in question is of great interest with regard to how, functionality and symbolism, can coexist and operate together. Next is the case of the remarkable and massive staircase of the Grande Arche of Paris, which is one of the strongest reference points in the public domain of the French capital and serves as a place of assembly and congregation of its citizens. From the other hand, two lithographs by the Dutch artist Escher shall be examined, cases that represent unimaginable staircases that are used by people who follow the startling laws set by the artist. The fourth case is the stepped structures (Ghat) on the river Ganges in Varanasi City in India, which lead to the waterfront of the Ganges and function mainly as places of cremation and ritual ablutions. Finally, the case of the Malaparte House staircase shall be examined, a house strongly linked to the memory of its owner, shaping the materialized form of his character and feelings.	en
