heal.abstract	Στόχος αυτής της εργασίας είναι η δημιουργία ενός χώρου ανάγνωσης – εμπειριών σε ένα εγκαταλειμμένο βιομηχανικό κέλυφος, ο οποίος επαναδιαπραγματεύεται την έννοια της ανάγνωσης καθώς και της σχέσης κελύφους – παρέμβασης. Εξερευνώντας την ιστορία των Μεταλλείων Ερμιόνης και στη συνέχεια τα ίχνη που αφήνει στον τόπο, προτείνεται μια αναζωογόνηση του παλιού βιομηχανικού συγκροτήματος στον κόλπο της Δάρδιζας και η μετατροπή του σε ένα πνευματικό κέντρο για την περιοχή και σε ένα κόμβο μνήμης που θα αναφέρεται υπερτοπικά. Στο νέο χώρο εκτός των άλλων θα λειτουργεί και μία βιβλιοθήκη. Η βιβλιοθήκη λειτουργεί παράλληλα σε δύο κτίρια με το χώρο ανάγνωσης να στεγάζεται στο παλιό μηχανουργείο και τους υπόλοιπους βοηθητικούς χώρους στις εργατικές κατοικίες της ίδιας εποχής. Ακολουθώντας την ιδέα του μονόμυθου καθώς και αυτή του ότι οι ιστορίες δεν είναι απλώς κείμενα αλλά εμπειρίες, προτείνεται μια παρέμβαση 4 συστημάτων στο εσωτερικό του μηχανουργείου , όπου ο επισκέπτης κινείται μέσα από τα μονοπάτια της παρέμβασης, για να καταλήξει στα λιμάνια του παλιού κτιρίου και να διαβάσει, ανταλλάξει ή γράψει ιστορίες. Η ανακάλυψη μιας ιστορίας δεν κρύβεται πλέον μονάχα μέσα στα βιβλία αλλά και στην περιπλάνηση μέσα στο χώρο. Το μόνο εμπόδιο είναι η ιστορία που δεν έχει ανακαλυφθεί ακόμα.	el
heal.abstract	The aim of this project is the creation of a space dedicated to reading and experiences in an abandoned industrial shell, which reestablishes the concept of reading and the relationship between the old cell and the intervention. After exploring the history of Ermioni Mines and the traces that it has left across the land, a revival of the old industrial facility on Dardiza bay is suggested and its converting into a cultural centre for the surrounding area as well as a point of memory with much broader significance. The library is its most vital part. Its needs are housed in two buildings, with the old machine workshop housing a reading hall and the old industrial residences the library’s secondary needs. Following the concept of the monomyth and that stories are not just words but experiences, an intervention of 4 interacting systems is suggested inside the machine workshop, where the visitor moves along the new “paths” to end up in the “havens” of the old building and read, exchange, experience and write stories. Discovering a new story does not involve just reading a book but wandering through the reading hall. The only obstacle is the story that lies undiscovered.	en
