heal.abstract	Η εργασία αφορά στη διαμόρφωση ενός κτήματος επί του οποίου βρίσκεται ερείπιο μεσαιωνικής κατοικίας, σε χώρο αναψυχής, συναναστροφής και μελέτης. Το κτήμα λειτουργούσε στα μεσαιωνικά χρόνια και αργότερα στα οθωμανικά ως αγρόκτημα. Με την πρόταση, στο χώρο κατασκευάζεται ένα νέο κτήριο που στεγάζει κέντρο μελέτης της μεσαιωνικής περιόδου και της αγροτικής παράδοσης της περιοχής καθώς και ένα μουσείο με εκθέματα όπως αγροτικά εργαλεία και μελέτες απεικόνισης της κατοικίας. Το κτήριο επίσης στεγάζει διευκολύνσεις όπως εστιατόριο και αίθουσα συγκεντρώσεων. Κύριοι στόχοι της μελέτης είναι αφενός να καταστεί γνωστό το διατηρητέο ερείπιο, αφετέρου δε να δημιουργηθεί ένας χώρος ζωής, κυρίως για τους νέους, τον οποίο έχει ανάγκη η περιοχή. Η πιο σημαντική παρέμβαση γίνεται στον υπαίθριο χώρο, όπου εμφανίζονται κατάλοιπα από τη μεσαιωνική και την οθωμανική κατασκευή και προστίθενται νέες κατασκευές όπως ένα υπαίθριο θέατρο, μπαρ, πισίνα, παγκάκια, στέγαστρο. Το μικροκλίμα της περιοχής από την οποία διέρχεται ένας από τους δύο μεγαλύτερους ποταμούς της Κύπρου, και το οποίο ήταν αυτό που προσέλκυσε τους Φράγκους Βασιλιάδες να χρησιμοποιήσουν το κτήμα ως αγρόκτημα, ευνοεί τις δραστηριότητες στον εξωτερικό χώρο. Αξίζει να αναφερθεί τέλος ότι ενεργοποιούνται ξανά τα πηγάδια του αγροκτήματος.	el
heal.abstract	This project proposes the change of an estate, on which a medieval house ruins are hosted, into a recreation place with meeting and studying places. The place was functioning in the medieval and later in the Ottoman years as a resort. With the proposal, a new building is constructed that hosts a center for studying the medieval times and the agricultural traditions of the region, which also contains a museum with exhibitions like agricultural tools and designs and sketches of the medieval house . The new building also has facilities like a restaurant and a meeting room. The main objectives of the proposal are firstly to make the preserved building known to the public and secondly to create a place of recreation and life for young people. The most critical intervention is done in the outside area, where medieval and ottoman residues are found. New constructions are added like an outside theater, benches, bar, pool, a shelter. The microclimate of the area that is crossed by one of the two longest rivers of Cyprus, was in the past the reason that the area was selected by the French Kings as a resort, and now is the reason that triggers the creation of places of outside activities. Finally it is important to mention that with the proposal the old wells are reused.	en
