heal.abstract	Ο χρόνος παίζει καταλυτικό ρόλο σε όλες τις δομές, από ιδεατές έως και υλικές. Μέσα από το πρίσμα του τα πράγματα διαγράφουν μια πορεία ζωής, όπου περιλαμβάνεται αρχή, μέση και τέλος, διερχόμενα υποχρεωτικά από την ωρίμανση και το γήρας. Συνέπεια της παρόδου του χρόνου συναρτήσει και άλλων παραμέτρων, όπως κοινωνικών και οικονομικών, είναι και το κτηριακό γήρας και η ερείπωση. Πώς όμως όλο αυτό το κτηριακό απόθεμα γίνεται αντιληπτό από τους κατοίκους και χρήστες της περιοχής όπου εντοπίζεται; Υπάρχει η ανάγκη χρήσης του; Και αν ναι ποιές προσπάθειες συντάσσονται με την ανάγκη αυτή; Μέσα από μια ιστορική και κοινωνική αναδρομή διαφαίνεται πως ο άνθρωπος εξέφραζε και εκφράζει την επιθυμία για ένταξη και επανάχρηση των ερειπίων, άλλοτε για τη διατήρησή τους, άλλοτε για την προσωρινή οικειοποίηση τους και άλλοτε ως εκ νέου λειτουργικές μονάδες. Πρώτα οι καλλιτέχνες (αρχιτέκτονες, λογοτέχνες, εικαστικοί) κάθε εποχής εστίασαν την προσοχή τους πάνω σε αυτές τις ογκώδης οπτικές «βιβλιοθήκες γνώσης και μνήμης». Για να μετατραπεί όμως το ξένο σε οικείο χρειάστηκαν αρκετά βήματα και τοποθετήσεις σε βάθος χρόνου. Όσο η ιστορία πλησιάζει στο σήμερα, τα ερείπια παραπέμπουν στο τραύμα πολέμων και φυσικών ή οικονομικών καταστροφών, όπου ο άνθρωπος δεν έχει ξεπεράσει, όμως και πάλι αποτελούν σχόλιο της πορείας της ανθρωπότητας και της ιστορίας. Σε αυτή την εργασία ερευνάται η αντιμετώπιση που λαμβάνει το ερείπιο από την κοινότητα των ανθρώπων, παραθέτονται εικαστικές και αρχιτεκτονικές επεμβάσεις και μελετάται η ένταξη του παλαιού κτηρίου, όντας ήδη σε κατάσταση ερείπωσης, ξανά στον αστικό ιστό. Μέσα από μελέτη περιπτώσεων, με σκοπό να διατυπωθεί ως πρόταση η ανακύκλωση και επανάχρηση των, κυρίως αστικών, ερειπίων από τους κατοίκους, δηλώνεται μια αντίδραση και κάποιες λύσεις απένατι στη συσσώρευση, στην άχαρη εικόνα αλλά και την επικινδυνότητα των γκρεμισμένων δομών.	el
heal.abstract	Time is performing a decisive part in the wasting of all structures, in ideas and materials, as well. Through the prism of time, things outline their march in life, in which beginning, middle and ending are contained, making their way through maturing and ageing. As a consequence of the pass of time, in connection with other factors, such as social and financial ones, buildings and other constructions grow old and get ruined. However, there is a question of how that stock of buildings are being perceived by the inhabitants and users of the area where they are located. Is there a need for them to be used? And if so, what efforts would comply with this need? Through a historical and social retrospection it is evident that mankind used to express, and still does, its desire to embody and reuse ruins, sometimes in order to preserve them, sometimes to be temporarily appropriate and sometimes to be used as functioning units. At first artists (architects, literary men, artists) in various epochs, focused their attention on those bulky, visual “libraries of knowledge and memory”. However, for the foreign to be transformed to familiar numerous steps and offerings of new ideas were needed in the depth of time. As long as history comes closer to present days, ruins make reference to wounds caused by wars and natural or economic destructions, which people have not overcome, yet they remain as comments on the march of humanity and history. In this project, we examine the way man’s community faces ruins, giving facts about artistic and architectural interventions and study the possibility of insertion of the old buildings–being already in a state of ruination – again into the urban net. Through the study of several cases, aiming to be formulated as a proposal the recycling and reuse, of the urban ruins mostly for the inhabitants, a reaction is declared and certain solutions are given, to face the accumulation, the ungraceful picture and also the profound dangerous state of the ruined structures.	en
