heal.abstract	Αντικείμενο της παρούσας εργασίας αποτελεί ο σχεδιασµός πρότυπου κέντρου έρευνας, ενηµέρωσης και εκπαίδευσης αναφορικά με το σεισµικό φαινόµενο. Το κέντρο χωροθετείται στην Κεφαλονιά, περιοχή µε ιδιαίτερα τεκτονικά χαρακτηριστικά που την κατατάσσουν στην πρώτη θέση της λίστας των περιοχών υψηλότερης σεισµικότητας στην Ελλάδα και την Ευρώπη. Το φαινόμενο του σεισµού διευρευνάται ως εγγενές της στοιχείο, που προσδιορίζει το «πνεύµα του τόπου». Πρόκειται για χειρονοµία υπερτοπικού χαρακτήρα, µε σκοπό τη δηµιουργία τοποσήµου «µνήµης» και ευαισθητοποίησης. Κύριος στόχος του εγχειρήµατος αποτελεί ακριβώς, η ευαισθητοποίηση, εξοικείωση και µείωση της τρωτότητας της κοινωνίας. Η σημειολογική ερμηνεία του τόπου λειτουργεί ως εργαλείο για την καλύτερη κατανόησή του από τους επισκέπτες και τη δημιουργία χωρικών εμπειριών με στόχο την προσέγγιση του φαινομένου. Με άξονα την ολοκληρωμένη εμπειρία του χώρου από τον χρήστη, στοιχεία όπως ιστορία, μνήμη, οπτικές, χαράξεις και υλικά, αναλύονται, επανερμηνεύονται και εντάσσονται στον σχεδιασμό. Τα μορφολογικά στοιχεία και τα υλικά που επιλέγονται, με τις αναφορές τους στη μνήμη, παρέχουν τις απαραίτητες αφορμές για περαιτέρω ανάγνωση και διερεύνηση. Πρόκειται για την οργάνωση μίας αφήγησης στον χώρο και τον χρόνο που επιχειρεί να προσδώσει το ιστορικό αποτύπωμα του σεισμικού φαινομένου στον τόπο και τη μνήμη των κατοίκων και των επισκεπτών της Κεφαλονιάς.	el
heal.abstract	The purpose of the present study is the design of an institute for research, awareness and education regarding the seismic phenomenon. The center is located in Cephalonia, an area with particular tectonic features, classified at the top of the list of areas with the highest seismicity in Greece and Europe. The earthquake is investigated as an intrinsic factor that determines the "spirit of place". It is regarded as a gesture of supralocal character, in order to create a landmark of memory and awareness. The main objective of the project is, indeed, obtaining awareness and familiarization with the phenomenon, in addition to reducing population vulnerability. Therefore, the semiological interpretation of the place shall serve as a tool for deeper understanding by visitors, as well as creating spatial experiences in order to approach the phenomenon. By focusing on the complete experience of the place by the user, information such as history, memory, perspectives, tracings and materials are analyzed, reinterpreted and integrated into the design. The morphological elements and materials selected, with their references to memory, provide the necessary pretexts for further reading and investigation. This is the formation of a narration in space and time, trying to attach the historical footprint of seismic phenomenon in the place and the memory of residents and visitors of the island.	en
