heal.abstract	Ο Ποδονίφτης είναι ένας χείμαρος, που πηγάζει από τις νοτιοδυτικές πλαγιές του Πεντελικού όρους και διασχίζει τις περιοχές των Βριλησσίων, του Χαλανδρίου, της Ν.Ιωνίας και πριν τη συμβολή του με τον Κηφισό, καθορίζει το όριο του Ε Δημοτικού Διαμερίσματος του Δήμου Αθηναίων με το Δήμο Ν.Φιλαδέλφειας-Ν.Χαλκηδόνας. Στα πλαίσια της διπλωματικής μας εστιάσαμε στο τελευταίο τμήμα του Ποδονίφτη, πριν τη συμβολή του με τον Κηφισό και μέχρι το άλσος της Ν.Φιλαδέλφειας. Σε αυτά τα σχεδόν 3 χιλιόμετρα μήκους, ο Ποδονίφτης καταφέρνει να κρατά σε απόσταση 3 διαφορετικούς δήμους αλλά και να τους συνδέει ενώ παρουσιάζει μεγάλη μορφολογική ποικιλία, με ένα ιδιαίτερο οικοσύστημα να διατηρείται προς την περιοχή του άλσους Προμπονά. Μέσω της ανάλυσης και κατανόησης της παραρεμάτιας αλλά και της ευρύτερης περιοχής, οδηγηθήκαμε σε μία συνολική πρόταση για το ρέμα, με τρία σημεία εστίασης τα οποία απλώνονται σχεδόν ισότιμα στο μήκος του. Βασικός μας στόχος ήταν το φυσικό στοιχείο του Ποδονίφτη και του νερού να γίνει κομμάτι των ροών της πόλης, μέσω της ενίσχυσης των διαδρομών για πεζούς, της ενίσχυσης της βιοποικιλότητας και της οικοεκπαίδευσης, της βιωματικής επαφής με όλους τους δημόσιους ανοιχτούς χώρους επί του ρέματος και κυρίως της ελεύθερης πρόσβασης στο επίπεδο του νερού αλλά και της παράλληλης με αυτό κίνηση. Το νερό φαίνεται να έχει χαθεί μέσα στον ιστό των σύγχρονων πόλεων, και εμείς μέσω της διπλωματικής μας θέλαμε να αναδείξουμε πως τα φυσικά στοιχεία μπορούν να αποκτήσουν μία νέα δυναμική και παρουσία μέσα στα αστικά περιβάλλοντα.	el
heal.abstract	Podoniftis is a stream originating from the southwest slopes of Penteli mountain and runs through the urban areas of Vrilissia, Chalandri, N.Ionia and before its outfall to Kifisos river, defines the limits between the municipalities of Athens and N.Filadelphia-N.Chalkidona. As far as this diploma-project is concerned, we focused on the last part of Podoniftis, from the outfall to Kifisos river until the N.Filadelphia grove. Along this 3 kilometers’ of its length, Podoniftis manages to keep apart 3 different municipalities yet connecting them, while it shows an interesting variety in terms of morphology, with a great ecosystem. Through our studying and understudying the area around the stream, we created a masterplan, with 3 focus points. These points of interest can be found equally destributed on its length. Our basic target was to make the natural element of Podoniftis and the water overall, a part of the flows within the modern city: paths for the pedestrians, protecting the biodiversity of the stream, ecology learning, access to the public spaces near the stream and mostly free access to the water-level and free parallel to the water movement. Water seems to be lost in the urban web and through our diploma-project we wanted to reveal how natural elements can have a new strong presence within the cities.	en
