heal.abstract	Στην παρούσα εργασία διερευνάται η απουσία των οπτικών και κοινωνικών ερεθισμάτων στον αρχιτεκτονικό χώρο, μέσα από δύο παραδείγματα, των λευκών κύβων και των λευκών κελιών. Στην αρχή αναφέρονται τα αρχιτεκτονικά και κοινωνικά στοιχεία σύστασης ενός χώρου και ο τρόπος με τον οποίο ο άνθρωπος, ως κοινωνικό ον, αντιλαμβάνεται μέσω των αισθήσεών του, τον χώρο γύρω του. Στη συνέχεια αναλύεται ιστορικά η εξέλιξη του μουσείου και της εκθεσιακής πρακτικής εν γένει. Παράλληλα με την χρήση συγκεκριμένων καλλιτεχνικών έργων, αναδεικνύεται η κριτική των καλλιτεχνών για τον εκθεσιακό χώρο και τις εκθεσιακές πρακτικές. Έπειτα μέσω της ανάλυσης του θεσμού της φυλακής βλέπουμε πως μέσα από την ιστορική εξέλιξη του σωφρονιστικού συστήματος προέκυψε η γέννηση του απομονωτικού εγκλεισμού ως μορφή φυλάκισης, του οποίου μια εκδοχή αποτελούν τα λευκά κελιά. Τέλος, με τη χρήση καλλιτεχνικών έργων ως οδηγούς, γίνεται μία εννοιολογική σύγκριση των λευκών κύβων και των λευκών κελιών, η οποία καταλήγει στην ανάλυση της κοινής τους ιδιότητας ως ετεροτοπίες. Η ιστορική ανάλυση των δύο θεσμών τεκμηριώνεται βιβλιογραφικά, ενώ η εννοιολογική προσέγγιση των δύο παραδειγμάτων προκύπτει από παρατηρήσεις σε συγκεκριμένες κριτικές καλλιτεχνικών έργων.	el
heal.abstract	This paper, through the examples of white cubes and white cells, discusses the lack of visual and social stimuli in the architectural space. In the beginning, we focus on the social architectural elements of the space and on the way humans, as social beings, perceive and understand, through their seven senses, the space around them. These are followed by an historical analysis of museums and galleries. Alongside the historical analysis we highlight, through the works of specific artists, their criticism towards galleries, as an architectural space, and galleries’ policy in general. Afterwards we move on to the historical analysis of prison and how it’s development lead to isolated confinement, which gave birth to the white cells. Finally, using specific works of art as drivers, we compare conceptually white cubes and white cells, coming to the conclusion of the existence of their common element, heterotopia (space). The historical analysis of those two institutions is based on bibliographical research with the use of bibliographic references, the conceptual approach of the second part is based on notes and remarks on art critics reviews and writings.	en
