heal.abstract	Στην παρούσα διπλωματική γίνεται μία εννοιολογική προσέγγιση της έννοιας του πολιτιστικού σχεδιασμού. Ιδιαίτερη έμφαση δίνεται στην πολιτιστική χρήση των Θεάτρων και πως αυτά επηρεάζουν την αστική ανάπτυξη. Συγκεκριμένα, εξετάζεται η περίπτωση των θεάτρων του Μεταξουργείου και πως αυτά έχουν επηρεάσει την περιοχή. Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο μέσα από μια βιβλιογραφική αναζήτηση επιχειρείται η σύνδεση του πολιτισμού με την αστική ανάπτυξη, παρουσιάζονται τα διάφορα είδη πολιτιστικού σχεδιασμού και διερευνάται η σύνδεση του πολιτισμού με το φαινόμενο του Gentrification. Πυρήνας του δευτέρου κεφαλαίου είναι η Αθήνα, η πολιτιστική πολιτική της πρωτεύουσας και η διαχρονική εξέλιξη της θεατρικής παραγωγής εντός των ορίων της. Στο τρίτο κεφάλαιο ορίζεται η περιοχή μελέτης, η οποία είναι ένα τμήμα του Μεταξουργείου (ορίζεται από τις οδούς Πειραιώς – Ιερά Οδός – Κωνσταντινουπόλεως – Αχιλλέως και Δεληγιώργη) και παρουσιάζονται τα χαρακτηριστικά της . Στη συνέχεια, στο τέταρτο κεφάλαιο γίνεται αναφορά στις πολιτιστικές χρήσεις της περιοχής μελέτης και δίνεται έμφαση στα θέατρα της περιοχής. Ακολουθούν συνεντεύξεις με τους καλλιτεχνικούς διευθυντές των θεάτρων. Ακολουθεί, το πέμπτο κεφάλαιο, όπου γίνεται η παρουσίαση προτάσεων και παρεμβάσεων που θα μπορέσουν να ενισχύσουν πολιτιστικά (και όχι μόνο) την εξεταζόμενη περιοχή. Τα συνολικά συμπεράσματα παραθέτονται στο έκτο κεφάλαιο της εργασίας. Ακολουθεί το έβδομο κεφάλαιο με τη βιβλιογραφία και το παράρτημα των χαρτών και των συνεντεύξεων. Η επεξεργασία και η ανάλυση των δεδομένων πραγματοποιήθηκαν σε περιβάλλον AutoCadκαι Libre Office Writer, οι διατομές των δρόμων έγιναν με χρήση του προγράμματος Streetmix.net . Ακόμη, για την λήψη φωτογραφικού υλικού χρησιμοποιήθηκε συμβατική ψηφιακή φωτογραφική μηχανή.	el
heal.abstract	The purpose of this diploma thesis is the demonstration of an approach to the context of cultural planning. In particular, in the spotlight is the study of the cultural use of theaters and their effect in urban development. Specifically, the case of the theaters of Metaxourgeio is studied and the way they affect the region. In the first chapter through a literature review, it is attempted to link culture to urban development, presenting the different types of cultural planning. Also, the connection of culture and the phenomenon of Gentrification is explored. In the second chapter, the case of city of Athens is examined, through the scope of the cultural policy of the capital and the evolution of the theatrical production within the city limits. In the third chapter the study area is defined, which is a division of Metaxourgeio (defined by the routes Piraeus – Iera Odos - Constantinople - Achilleos and Deligiorgi) and presented its characteristics. Then the fourth chapter refers to the cultural uses of the study area and the emphasis is on local theaters. Also interviews with the artistic directors of theaters are demonstrated. In the fifth chapter, our proposal about urban renewal in the case study of Metaxourgeio is demonstrated , and in the sixth the conclusions about the study area and its potentials. The seventh chapter, a detailed bibliography of all references cited in this diploma thesis. This diploma thesis ends with Annex A: Maps and Annex B: Interviews. The processing and analysis of data were performed in AutoCad environment LibreOffice Writer, the intersections of roads made using Streetmix.net program. Furthermore, for obtaining the photographic material a conventional digital camera was used.	en
