heal.abstract	The purpose of this study is to examine the attitude of steel and aluminium specimens, protected by organic coating or not, in an artificially induced sea environment. The phenomenon of corrosion is analyzed, the forms by which it occurs, its mechanisms, the anti-corrosion methods being used today, especially in the sea environment. It is thoroughly presented the use of organic coat as a method of anti-corrosion protection for the two most used materials in ship building industry, steel and aluminium.	en
