heal.abstract	Το Εθνικό Πάρκο Δέλτα του Έβρου σχηματίζεται στις εκβολές του ποταμού Έβρου και αποτελεί έναν από τους σημαντικότερους υγροβιότοπους της Ευρώπης. Το Ε.Π.Δ.Ε. εξελίσσεται συνεχώς γεωμορφολογικά, δεν έχει ενιαίο χαρακτήρα σε όλη την έκτασή του αλλά αντίθετα μεταβάλλεται από περιοχή σε περιοχή αλλά και ανάλογα με την εποχή. Αποτελεί προστατευόμενη περιοχή με πλούσια χλωρίδα και πανίδα ενώ φιλοξενεί τα 316 είδη πουλιών από τα 425 που απαντώνται συνολικά στην Ελλάδα. Στην περιοχή παρατηρείται μια σειρά από παθογένειες οι οποίες θέτουν σε κίνδυνο το οικοσύστημα και σχετίζονται τόσο με την απουσία σχεδιασμού όσο με παράνομες ανθρώπινες δραστηριότητες. Στόχος της παρέμβασης είναι η μετατροπή του Δέλτα του Έβρου σε ενεργό δίκτυο πολιτισμού και εκπαίδευσης συμβάλλοντας στην προστασία και ανάπτυξη της περιοχής και ιδιαίτερα στην ενίσχυση της περιβαλλοντικής παιδείας και του τουρισμού. Μέσω της πρότασης, επιδιώκεται ο επαναπροσδιορισμός της σχέσης του ανθρώπου με τη φύση και το τοπίο, εισάγοντας τον επισκέπτη σε μια πιο άμεση και δυναμική περιήγηση.	el
heal.abstract	The Evros River Delta National Park is located in Evros, Northern Greece and forms the physical border with Turkey. It is an important wetland on a national, European and international level, home to rich vegetation and a variety of endangerd bird species. Neglected and even abused by the local community, the Evros Delta is suffering from critical problems such as pollution, illegal hunting and high traffic of vehicles trespassing environmentally sensitive areas. The proposal attempts to redefine the relationship between people and the landscape, by reinforcing the visitors’ experience of the natural environment not only through observation, but also by enticing them to spend time and effort moving through the landscape, on foot and in flat bottom boats, the way local fishermen have done for ages. The proposal aims to contribute to the sustainable development of the area by providing a network of places that support environmental, educational and cultural opportunities for people of all ages.	en
