The subject of this thesis is the Exploitation of Software MS Project 2013 for the Planning, Control and Project Appraisal. Its purpose is to present ways and techniques of Project Management program, that they will run all stages of analysis, implementation and control of a project throughout the course of the Project. These steps relate to the duration of the project, the proper management of resources, monitoring of costs sizes and how they affect each other.
In Chapter 1, it will generally be analyzed the Project Management theory and tools used in the last fifty years to more effective monitoring of operations, resources and costs required for completion of each Project. The most important of these tools are the Network Analysis Methods: Critical Path Method (CPM), Programme Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT), Metra Potential Method or PDM, Precedence Diagram Method (MPM), and GANTT charts that will be the main study and control method of the present study.
In Chapter 2, it will be referred modern electronic tools, electronic platforms that are widely known worldwide for automated Project Management and the financial management of their resources. Some are commercial and more professional packages MS Project, Microsoft Project Server and Primavera. Other open source projects and free for free use are OpenProj, OpenProject, ProjectLibre, PROJECTopen other.
In Chapter 3, the chosen Project will be described and analyzed as the thesis case study. It will be presented the various actions listed, the resources and the way they are linked. It will be explained in detail each step of implementation planning and control, which will be managed by the user via the MS Project 2013. Steps of the Project will be analyzed for monitoring the work and whether they evolve based on the plan. In case during the execution of the project there are work delays or extension of the duration or lack of resources and generally if something is not done according to schedule, it is possible to measure how affected the budget and the duration of the Project.
In last Chapter will be an overview of the issues analyzed in this thesis and the conclusions along with recommendations on how the efficiency of enterprises and organizations can change from the new scientific field called Project Management. |
