The subject of this thesis is the seismic design and study of a five -storey office building via the program Robot structural Analysis. Our building is made of steel with composite slabs and composite beams and has cross links at the two main directions. Theories, regulations and methodologies followed to resolve the building as well as the results obtained from the analysis are presenting in detail. More
specifically: Chapter 1 gives a presentation of the building, the program, the regulations and the materials used with particular reference to the advantages of steel as a construction material.
Chapter 2 presents the loads strain construction and the load combinations with which they were resolved.
Chapter 3 presents the analysis and verification of our manufacturing, both for static loads and for seismic loads (through modal response spectrum analysis), which took place through the program ROBOT STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS of
Autodesk (except our rafters checked Hand). Indeed for seismic loads incurred and ikanotikoi controls, which are also presented in this chapter. In Chapter 4 is carried dimensioning and control of the composite plate through the program
SYMDECK DESIGNER of ELASTRON company. Chapter 5
presents the connections of the construction and the checks carried out to analyze and control them. Finally,
Chapter 6 lists the conclusions drawn. |
