heal.abstract	Σκοπό της παρούσας διάλεξης αποτελεί η προσέγγιση της έννοιας της ταυτότητας του χώρου. Μιας έννοιας που όλοι χρησιμοποιούμε ως tabula rasa θεωρώντας την δεδομένη στον λόγο και στις συνειδήσεις μας . Η μελέτη μου ξεκίνησε λοιπόν με έναν προσωπικό στόχο κατανόησής της. Αναγνωρίζοντα κατά την διάρκεια επεξεργασίας του θέματος την πολυπλοκότητα ορισμού της ταυτότητας του χώρου αναγκαία κρίθηκε η εξέτασή της μέσα από ένα παράδειγμα πόλης. Το παράδειγμα που επελέγη είναι αυτό της πόλης του Belfast της περίοδο της διαμάχης 1969-1998, καθώς αποτελεί "τρανταχτό" παράδειγμα ορισμού ταυτοτήτων στα πλαίσια αντίθεσης και διαφοράς.	el
heal.abstract	This thesis constitutes an effort to approach the notion of space-place identity. In order to make its definition more comprehensible, this thesis explores the case of Belfast’s example during the period of the conflict known as the “Troubles” between 1969 and 1998. The notion of space-place identity is initially approached theoretically, starting with the term of personal identity and moving towards the one of social identity always taking into consideration and placing these terms in the human scope, space and place. The further examination through an example was considered necessary since the purpose of this thesis- the definition of the term- was of personal interest, and for this reason the contact- even though purely bibliographical- with identities mainly built on mutual contrast to each other contributed to understanding and gradually conquering the meaning of space- place identity. Terms and theories firstly approached on a basis are confirmed in action in both the natural and imaginary geography of the city of Belfast.	en
