Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία πραγματεύεται την μελέτη και τον σχεδιασμό ενός διώροφο κτιρίου, όπου ο φέρων οργανισμός είναι κατασκευασμένος από σύνθετα υλικά (FRP). Η ανάλυση της κατασκευής υλοποιήθηκε σύμφωνα με τις οδηγίες των Eurocomp Design Code and Handbook και των ASCE Structural Plastics Design Manual, οι οποίες έχουν διατυπωθεί μετά από λεπτομερή μελέτη της συμπεριφοράς των FRP. |

The subject of this thesis is the study and the design of two storey building which is
consisted of pultruded Fiber Reinforcement Polymers (FRP). The structural analysis
is based on the instructions and guidelines of the
Eurocomp Design Code and
Handbook and the
ASCE Structural Plastics Design Manual
, which has
been
established after thorough research in the fields of composite’s materials.
In the structural analysis, the whole kind of actions was taken into account that can be
imposed on a common structure as well
as in a structure of pultruded FRP
materials. The FRP pultruded structures are really sensitive to lateral loads such as the
wind, due to their own light weight. Consequently, the most unfavorable load cases
are represented and the sections of the beams and the columns are dimensioned with
the advised
safety factors.
In the end, the beams, the columns and the bracing system were calculated using the
conventional FRP pultruded sections provided by the company Creative Pultrusions
which is pioneering in the
field of composite materials. |
