heal.abstract	Η παρούσα ερευνητική εργασία πραγματεύεται την σχέση οικονομικής αναπτυξιακής εξέλιξης και Θαλάσσιου χώρου, υπό τη σκέπη ειδικών σχεδιαστικών πολιτικών. Ο Ευρωπαϊκός αναπτυξιακός προγραμματισμός που λαμβάνει χώρα την υφιστάμενη χρονική περίοδο, τοποθετεί τον Θαλάσσιο χώρο στους κυρίαρχους παράγοντες οικονομικού εξευγενισμού μιας γεωγραφικά προσδιοριζόμενης περιοχής. Οι τομείς οικονομικής ανάπτυξης που απορρέουν από το Θαλάσσιο χώρο έχουν πολύ-επίπεδο περιεχόμενο και απαιτούν αποτελεσματική διαχείριση. Στοχεύοντας στο περιορισμό πιθανόν γεωπολιτικών συγκρούσεων, στην προσέλκυση επενδύσεων, στην ενίσχυση των θαλάσσιων ενεργειακών δικτύων, στην βελτίωση της διασυνοριακής συνεργασίας, στη προστασία του περιβάλλοντος κ.ο.κ. Η ανά χείρας ερευνητική προσπάθεια επιχειρεί να προσεγγίσει τον Ελληνικό θαλάσσιο χώρο, με βασικό άξονα θεώρησης την επιστήμη της Γεωγραφίας. Έμφαση θα δωθεί σε βασικές θεματικές ενότητες της γεωγραφικής επιστήμης, που θα αποτελέσουν ταυτόχρονα τα κλειδιά αναγνώρισης και αξιολόγησης του. Επομένως, η ανίχνευση, η ανάλυση και η αποτύπωση ζητημάτων που αφορούν τον Ελληνικό Θαλάσσιο χώρο, θα πραγματοποιηθεί υπό το πρίσμα ειδικών θεματικών ενοτήτων κλειδιών. Ο κεντρικός άξονας προσέγγισης της εργασίας αυτής θα γίνει υπό το πρίσμα του τρίπτυχου της γεωπολιτικής, γεωστρατηγικής και γεωοικονομικής θεώρησης, που αποτελεί συνάμα τους βασικούς πόλους ερμηνείας ζητημάτων του χώρου, υπό την κατεύθυνση της επιστήμης της Γεωγραφίας. Εξ' αυτού, προκύπτει ότι θα ληφθεί υπόψιν, το σύνολο του διαθέσιμου θεωρητικού και μεθοδολογικού οπλοστασίου των προκείμενων θεματικών ενοτήτων κλειδιών. Η συνάρτηση της Εθνικής κοινωνικό - οικονομικής κρίσης με τη δυναμική του Ελληνικού Θαλάσσιου Χώρου και τις σύγχρονες γεωπολιτικές εξελίξεις στην περιοχή, θέτει τα θεμέλια συγγραφής της παρούσας ερευνητικής προσπάθειας. Έμφαση θα δοθεί στις αναπτυξιακές προοπτικές που απορρέουν από τον Ελληνικό Θαλάσσιο χώρο, με υπερτονισμό της ενεργειακής δυναμικής του. Με σκοπό την ανάδειξη σκέψεων και προτάσεων για την εν δυνάμει βελτίωση της υφιστάμενης ζοφερής κοινωνικό – οικονομικής κατάστασης της Ελλάδος. Εν λίαν συντόμως, γίνεται κατανοητό ότι ο ρόλος της Εθνικής θαλάσσιας ισχύος διαδραματίζει καθοριστικής σημασίας παράγοντα Εθνικής Αναπτυξιακής Στρατηγικής. Συμπερασματικά, η μελέτη όλων των παραπάνω δεν μπορεί να λάβει χώρα δίχως να ληφθούν υπόψιν σημαντικές χώρο-χρονικές τομές, νομικά πλαίσια, πολιτικές επιλογές, χαρτογραφικά υπόβαθρα, σύγχρονων τεχνολογιών παραγωγής ενέργειας εκ των Θαλασσών, απεικόνισης οικονομικών, κοινωνικών δεικτών κ.ο.κ. Εν κατακλείδι, γίνεται αντιληπτό ότι η ερμηνεία σχεδιαστικών ζητημάτων των Ελληνικών Θαλασσών με έμφαση στην ενεργειακή δυναμική δεν δύναται να προσεγγιστεί επιτυχώς δίχως να ληφθούν υπόψιν οι πολύ – επίπεδες ερμηνείες του χώρου. Γεγονός που προσδίδει τον χαρακτηρισμό ' χώρο - λειτουργικότητας' στον Ελληνικό Θαλάσσιο χώρο.	el
heal.abstract	The present research study deals with the relationship of the evolution of economic development and maritime space under the umbrella of particular planning policies. The European development programming which is taking place at this time period, positions maritime space within the main factors regarding the economic refinement of a geographically defined region. The areas of economic development that arise from the maritime space are made up of a multilevel content and demand an effective management approach. Aiming at limiting possible geopolitical confrontations, attracting investments, reinforcing the maritime energy networks, improving trans-border cooperation, protecting the environment, etc., the present research endeavor tries to approach Greek maritime space with basic axis of reference that of the science of Geography. Emphasis will be placed on the basic thematic units of the science of Geography that will constitute at the same time, the keys to their recognition and evaluation process. Therefore, the research, analysis, and presentation of matters regarding Greek maritime space, will take place in light of particular key thematic units. The main axis of approach of this study will follow the triptych of geopolitical, geostrategic and geo-economic evaluation, which constitutes at the same time the basic poles defining these particular subject matters, under the guidance of the principles of the science of Geography. From this it can be derived that the whole of the available theoretical and methodological inventory of the resulting thematic key units will be taken into account. The integration of the national socioeconomic crisis with the dynamics of the Greek maritime space and the contemporary geopolitical developments of the region sets the foundations for authoring the present research endeavor. Emphasis will be placed on the possibilities of growth that arise within Greek maritime space, pointing out its energy potential with the aim being that of bringing to light thoughts and proposals regarding the improvement of the current dismal socioeconomic situation in Greece. In short, it it‟s becoming evident that the role of the national maritime power constitutes a defining factor in any national growth strategy. In summary, the study of all of the aforementioned components cannot take place without taking into account important space-time elements, legal frameworks, political preferences, mapping bases, modern technologies of energy production from the sea, as well as and the present situation of economic and social indices, etc. In conclusion, it becomes apparent that the integration of planning issues of the Greek seas with emphasis on their energy potential, cannot be approached successfully without taking into consideration the many multilevel interpretations of the areas in question. This is the reality that imparts the characterizing of „space-functionality‟ in the Greek maritime space.	en
