heal.abstract	Η διπλωματική αυτή εργασία αφορά μια πρόταση επέκτασης του 14ου Γυμνασίου Λυκείου Θεσσαλονίκης στην περιοχή του Ντεπώ. Ντεπώ στα γαλλικά μεταξύ άλλων σημαίνει αμαξοστάσιο/αποθήκη και η περιοχή πήρε την ονομασία αυτή λόγω της ύπαρξης του συγκροτήματος του Ντεπω, το οποίο φιλοξενούσε τις εγκαταστάσεις του τραμ, όταν αυτό βρισκόταν σε λειτουργία. Το υπάρχον σχολείο μελέτης, βρίσκεται ακριβώς δίπλα στο ιστορικό συγκρότημα, στην δυτική του πλευρά. Συζητώντας με τους καθηγητές αλλά και τους μαθητές διαπιστώσαμε ότι υπάρχει άμεση ανάγκη επέκτασης του, λόγω της περιορισμένης χωρητικότητάς και η ιδέα αξιοποίησης των διατηρητέων κτιρίων του συγκροτήματος υπάρχει εδώ και καιρό. Κάνοντας κάποιες σκέψεις για το υπάρχον σχολείο παρατηρούμε ότι πρόκειται για ένα τυπικό δημόσιο σχολείο, όπου όλες οι λειτουργίες συγκεντρώνονται σ’ έναν όγκο και όπου επικρατεί η αυστηρή διάταξη διαδρόμου-αιθουσών Έχοντας λοιπόν ζήσει και οι ίδιες σε ένα παρόμοιο χωρικό μοντέλο και συζητώντας και με τους μαθητές για το πώς βιώνουν τον χώρο, προσπαθήσαμε μέσα από την πρόταση μας να δούμε το σχολείο με διαφορετική ματιά.. Ξεκινώντας με το δεδομένο ότι με την διαμόρφωση του χώρου έχουμε στην ουσία ένα είδος αόρατης παιδαγωγικής το οποίο κατευθύνει τους μαθητές σε πρακτικές δραστηριότητες, αρχίζαμε να καταγράφουμε προβλήματα της υπάρχουσας κατάστασης και ν’ αναζητάμε εναλλακτικές προτάσεις, συνθέτοντας ένα μοντέλο που σε πολλά διαφέρει από το υπάρχον.	el
heal.abstract	This thesis is a proposal for the expansion of the14th High School of Thessaloniki, in Depot region. The area took its name due to the existence of the Depot complex, which housed the tram facilities when this was in operation. The existing school is located in the west side of the historical complex. After a conversation with the teachers and the students, we realized that there is an urgent need for the expansion of the school, due to the limited capacity, and the idea of reusing the listed buildings next to it, had been there for a long time. In the existing, typical public school, all functions are concentrated in one volume and there is a strict corridor-classroom layout organizing the space. Combining the former with our own personal experiences in similar spatial models, we tried to propose a different approach to the school environment. Recognizing that space configuration enhances an invisible pedagogy, which directs students in creative activities, we began by recording existing problems and seeking alternatives, ultimately creating a model that in many aspects differs from the existing one.	en
