heal.abstract	Αντικείμενο της παρούσας διπλωματικής αποτελεί η μελέτη και επέμβαση στην βιομηχανική περιοχή της Λεύκας στον Πειραιά Αττικής (μηχανοστάσιο τρένων του ΟΣΕ, εργοστάσιο κλωστοϋφαντουργίας Ρετσίνα). Η πρόταση έχει στόχο την επανένταξη του βιομηχανικού αυτού τοπίου στον χώρο της πόλης και τη μετάλλαξή του σε ενεργό πεδίο της, με παράλληλη διατήρηση της ιστορικότητάς του και της βιομηχανικής μνήμης. Η πολεοδομική πρόταση επικεντρώνεται στην ενοποίηση με την πόλη (οδικό δίκτυο, συνδέσεις), όπως επίσης στη δημιουργία ενός δικτύου χρήσεων που απαντά σε βασικές ανάγκες και ελλείψεις της περιοχής. Η οργάνωση της στρατηγική του σχεδιασμού κινείται σε δύο άξονες. Ο πρώτος άξονας αποτελεί το σενάριο χρήσεων με λειτουργίες γύρω από τον πολιτισμό, την εργασία και την εκπαίδευση, και κεντρικό πυρήνα τη μεταποίηση. Ο δεύτερος άξονας επικεντρώνεται στο σχεδιασμό του υπαίθριου ανοιχτού χώρου του οικοπέδου του ΟΣΕ μέσα από ένα σύστημα διαδρομών (σύνδεσης ή περιήγησης) και ένα δίκτυο δημόσιων χώρων. Βασικό ζητούμενο, είναι η επαναφορά της ανθρώπινης κλίμακας σε αυτούς τους αχανείς χώρους, έτσι ώστε να γίνουν εμφανείς και αξιοποιήσιμοι από ένα ευρύ πεδίο χρηστών και καθημερινών δραστηριοτήτων. Χρησιμοποιούνται κυρίως τρία εργαλεία για την οργάνωση και τη διαμόρφωση των διαφορετικών ανοιχτών χώρων: Η μελέτη και επέμβαση σε υπάρχουσες μεταλλικές κατασκευές, ένα νέο σύστημα ανεξάρτητων ελαφριών κατασκευών και η φύτευση.	el
heal.abstract	Subject of this thesis is the study and intervention in the former industrial zone of Lefka in Piraeus (OSE train factory and Retsina textile factory). The proposal aims at the rehabilitation of the industrial landscape and it’s interaction with the urban fabric, while exploiting its historical and architectural value, as industrial heritage. The urban planning proposal focuses on the integration with the city (streets’ network, accesses), as well as the creation of a network of land uses which responds to basic needs and lacks of the area. The design strategy is moving in two axes. First comes the scenario of the land uses with mild industry and manufacturing as core activities, but also social and cultural activities and infrastructure and educational uses. The second axis focuses on the design of the open space in the plot of OSE through a system of movement and paths and a network of public spaces. A key issue is the reinstatement of human scale in these vast spaces, so that the could be visible and usable by a wide range of users and daily activities. Three basic tools are used for the organization and configuration of different open spaces: the study and intervention in existing steel structures, a new system of independent light construction and vegetation.	en
