heal.abstract	Το κλίμα της Ιαπωνίας χαρακτηρίζεται από υγρό, θερμό καλοκαίρι, ψυχρό χειμώνα και ισχυρούς ανέμους. Οι κατασκευαστικές επιλογές αναδεικνύουν την επίδραση του κλίματος στην παραδοσιακή κατοικία. Τα βασικά διαθέσιμα υλικά όπως το άχυρο, το ξύλο, το μπαμπού και το χώμα σε συνδυασμό με το φυσικό στοιχείο της βλάστησης, αποτέλεσαν τον βασικό πυρήνα γύρω από τον οποίο διαμορφώθηκαν οι διαφοροποιήσεις από τον βορρά έως τον νότο.	el
heal.abstract	The climate of Japan is characterized by wet, warm summer, cold winter and severe winds. The construction choices show forth the influence of climate at the formation of the traditional house. The general cultural frame in which it is subsumed and the topographic characteristics in conjuction with the climate differentiations that are located along the islands of Japan, were significant factors that shaped the traditional architecture of the house. The fundamental available materials of straw, wood, bamboo and soil composed the basic core in which the differentiations along the four islands are formed.	en
