heal.abstract	Η παρούσα εργασία ξεκινά με τη μελέτη του υδροδοτικού συστήματος της Αθήνας και συγκεκριμένα με τους ταμιευτήρες του Μαραθώνα, του Μόρνου και του Έυηνου. Με τη συγκριτική μέθοδο, καταλήγει να εστιάσει στην περίπτωση της τεχνητής λίμνης του Μόρνου ερευνώντας το ιστορικό υπόβαθρο, τα πληθυσμιακά δεδομένα, τον πολιτισμικό πλούτο και τα περιβαλλοντικά στοιχεία που χαρακτηρίζουν την περιοχή της λίμνης αλλά και τα πέριξ αυτής. Με δεδομένη την απουσία της κρατικής μέριμνας για το κοινωνικό, οικονομικό και περιβαλλοντικό τοπίο, τίθεται ο προβληματισμός γύρω από τις επιζήμιες συνέπειες της δημιουργίας του ταμιευτήρα στην τοπική κοινωνία. Σε ένα τέτοιο πλαίσιο, δύναται εν τέλει ανθρωπογενές και φυσικό περιβάλλον να εναρμονιστούν, αποβλέποντας σε ένα ουσιαστικό "ξεδίπλωμα" των δυνάμεων του τόπου;	el
heal.abstract	The provided research thesis starts with the research on Athens' water supply system and more specifically on the water reservoirs of the lakes of Marathonas, Mornos and Evinos. Through a comparative method, it finally focuses on the case study of lake Mornos, searching for the historical background, population data, cultural heritage and environmental features of the region and the surrounding environment. Taking into account the absence of state care for the social, financial and environmental sector, a question arises about the detrimental effects of the construction of the reservoir on the local society. Under these circumstances, is it possible, eventually, for the human and natural environment to blend in order for the particular features of this place to unfold?	en
