heal.abstract	H διπλωματική εργασία με τίτλο «Δρόμος Νερού στις λιμνοθάλασσες του Μεσολογγίου», αφορά τον σχεδιασμό ενός καναλιού και ενός πάρκου, τα οποία τοποθετούνται στην πόλη του Μεσολογγίου. Η επιλογή του θέματος προέκυψε αρχικά μέσα από την παρατήρηση μιας ακολουθίας κενών χώρων μέσα στην πόλη του Μεσολογγίου, με κεντρικό πυρήνα το τμήμα που αποτελεί την κύρια είσοδο στην πόλη σήμερα. Στην συνέχεια αναγνωρίσαμε αυτό το σύνολο των κενών εκτάσεων ως «προβληματική» ζώνη, η οποία διχοτομεί την σημερινή πόλη σε δύο τμήματα και δημιουργεί ανομοιογενή χαρακτηριστικά στο ευρύτερο σύνολό της. Η αναγνώριση-κατασκευή του προβλήματος που θέσαμε προς επίλυση, το οποίο αποτέλεσε το βασικό έναυσμα γα τον σχεδιασμό μας, προέκυψε κατά κύριο λόγο από την απουσία της ανθρώπινης δραστηριότητας στην περιοχή μελέτης και από την έλλειψη μιας συνεκτικής ταυτότητας. Ο σχεδιασμός του πάρκου επηρεάστηκε από κάποιες υπάρχουσες παραμέτρους που εντοπίσαμε, καθώς και από ίχνη του παρελθόντος που μπορεί να έχουν σβηστεί, παρόλαυτα παραμένουν σαν φαντάσματα παρόντα επηρεάζοντας την σημερινή κατάσταση. Η πρόθεσή μας, μέσα από τον σχεδιασμό του καναλιού και του πάρκου υπήρξε η δημιουργία συνέχειας μέσα στην πόλη, και η σύνδεση ασύνδετων, μέχρι τώρα, μελών του σώματος της πόλης. Ο δρόμος νερού (κανάλι), ενώ διαχωρίζει αυστηρά τα δύο αντικριστά μέτωπα της πόλης, παράλληλα δημιουργεί ένα κοινό πεδίο συμμετοχής τους σε κάτι που συμβαίνει αναμεσά τους, δημιουργώντας αμέσως σύνδεση. Επιπλέον, το πάρκο που σχεδιάζεται στην κενή έως τώρα έκταση, και οι γέφυρες λειτουργούν ως συνδετήρες μεταξύ των δύο μετώπων. Τέλος η πόλη συνδέεται ξανά με την λιμνοθάλασσα πάνω σε ίχνη που προϋπήρχε κάποτε το υδάτινο στοιχείο.	el
heal.abstract	The diploma project, entitled ‘’Road of water in Missolonghi lagoons’’, constitutes the design of both a canal and a park located in the city of Missolonghi in Western Greece. After proceeding to meticulous autopsy of the city and studying its maps, we firstly observed a linear sequence of different empty spaces inside the city, spaces which have as their central core the main entrance to the city. We considered those empty spaces as a problematic zone which splits the city into two parts and thereby contributes to its problematic heterogeneity. The absence of activities and the lack of a coherent identity emerging from those spaces lied in the centre of our interest and thus our intention was to solve these problems through the design. For this purpose, the design of a water-path and a park is aimed to restore the continuity within the city by connecting the separate parts of the city-body, and in this way to transform it into an area capable of hosting a vast of daily-life activities. With regard to the process of the designing of the park, we took into serious consideration the (a) existing parameters of topos and (b) the traces of the local history of the city which still influence the features of its landscape. The water-path (canal), although separating strictly the two city fronts, simultaneously connects them by offering to the citizens the opportunity to engage with an abundance of potential situations which can flourish between these fronts. Furthermore, the park by itself, mainly through a series of bridges, serves as one further connector between the fronts. Last, but not least, always in our effort to link the city with the lagoon, we also took advantage of the already existing water traces of the area.	en
