heal.abstract	Επηρεασμένος από τις σπουδές μου στα μαθηματικά, επέλεξα να ασχοληθώ στη διπλωματική μου εργασία με ένα θέμα που γεφυρώνει τις δύο αυτές επιστήμες (ή τέχνες). Πολλές είναι οι θεματικές που μπορούν να γεννηθούν από την ώσμωση των μαθηματικών και της αρχιτεκτονικής, όμως αυτό που κρίθηκε πιο ενδιαφέρον, συσχετίζεται με το κατά πόσο μπορεί η αρχιτεκτονική να υπηρετήσει τα ίδια τα μαθηματικά, μέσω ενός Μουσείου Μαθηματικών. Από τη μία, τέθηκε το ζήτημα που σχετίζεται με το πως λειτουργούν τα μαθηματικά ως μουσειακό έκθεμα και από την άλλη, αναλύθηκε ο τόπος και ο λόγος που δικαιολογούν τις συνθήκες που εκτείνεται η μελέτη αυτή. Τα μαθηματικά, είτε τα αντιληφθούμε ως τη μητέρα των επιστημών, είτε ως τη γλώσσα του σύμπαντος, συντελούν τα στοιχεία που συλλαμβάνονται μέσω της ανθρώπινης αντιληπτικής ικανότητας και σκέψης. Πως δομείται ένα Μουσείο Μαθηματικών; Είναι το ίδιο μια διερώτηση, που φλερτάρει με την ουτοπία ή τη δυσ-τοπία μιας εποχής που ταλαντεύεται μεταξύ του πραγματικού και του διαδικτυακού κόσμου. Είναι μια κιβωτός επιστημών που «αγκυροβολείται» στην άκρη της πόλης, στη προβληματική περιοχή του Φαληρικού Όρμου, εκεί όπου η πόλη χωρίζεται από τη θάλασσα, από δρόμους ταχείας κυκλοφορίας και εγκαταλελειμμένες εγκαταστάσεις των Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων του 2004, και επιθυμεί να την επανα-κατακτήσει.	el
heal.abstract	Influenced by my first studies in mathematics, I have chosen to pursue my diploma thesis with a subject that bridges these two sciences (or arts?). There are many themes that can arise from osmosis of mathematics and architecture, but what I considered more interesting is whether architecture can serve mathematics itself through a Museum of Mathematics. On the one hand, the question arises as to how mathematics works as a museum, exhibit and, on the other hand, the place and the reason justifying the conditions that this study extends. Mathematics, whether we perceive them as the mother of the Sciences or as the language of the universe, conveys the elements captured through human perceptual ability and thought. How is a Museum of Mathematics consisted? It is the same question, flirting with the utopia or dys-topia of a time swinging between the real world and the internet world. It is an ark of sciences that is “anchored” at the edge of the city, in the problematic area of the Faliro Bay, where the city is separated from the sea, by highways and abandoned facilities of the 2004 Olympic Games, and desires to re-conquer it.	en
