heal.abstract	Η αξιοποίηση της δημόσιας ακίνητης περιουσίας αποτελεί έναν από τους κυριότερους στόχους της σημερινής ελληνικής πολιτείας, καθώς μπορεί να συνεισφέρει σημαντικά στη βελτίωση της οικονομίας και να αποτελέσει ουσιαστική παράμετρο για την έξοδο από την κρίση. Διανύοντας πλέον τον όγδοο χρόνο οικονομικής κρίσης στην Ελλάδα, φαίνεται ότι αυτή η λογική μάλλον αποτελεί μονόδρομο. Ο «Πύργος του Πειραιά» (Π.Π.) αποτελεί χαρακτηριστικό παράδειγμα κτιριακού αποθέματος, το οποίο παρέμεινε όχι μόνο αναξιοποίητο, αλλά και ημιτελές. Ένα κτήριο, το οποίο θα μπορούσε να αποτελέσει σύμβολο για την πόλη και το λιμάνι του Πειραιά με τεράστιες δυνατότητες και προοπτικές για την τοπική άλλα και εθνική ανάπτυξη.	el
heal.abstract	The use of public property is one of the main objectives of Greece, as it can contribute significantly to improving the economy and constitute an essential parameter for the exit from the crisis. This is the eighth year of economic crisis in Greece and it seems that this logic is the only solution. The Piraeus Tower is an exemplary building stock, which not only remained untapped, but also unfinished. A building which could be a symbol for the city and the port of Piraeus with great potential and prospects for the local and national development. The Tower of Piraeus, also known as "Marine and Commercial center of Piraeus" according to the original vision at the time of its construction, was to play an important role for the port of Piraeus. The creation of such centers and their importance for ports have already emerged from the 1970s, thus resulting studies and financing for these projects. Regarding the port of Piraeus, the biggest and most important port of Greece and one of the most important growth factors on a local, national, and international level it is obvious that the operation of such an attraction would emphasize even more the commercial and economic development of the port itself. In other words, even more strongly today, the modernization and enhancement of the port is essential in order to become a commercial naval attraction. The Tower of Piraeus should be consistently the first priority of the competent bodies. The skyscraper of Piraeus has all the prerequisites to become a strong maritime center. The creation of a maritime attraction in Piraeus with main focus on the Tower is an idea that is increasingly gaining ground. The aim of this project is to provide a further argument to this idea, exploring the best uses for the development of the property.	en
