heal.abstract	Το θέμα αφορά στη δημιουργία ενός κέντρου για την τέχνη του υποδήματος στην περιοχή του Ψυρρή, ή αλλιώς την κατασκευή μιας μηχανής φαντασιώσεων. Το υπόδημα εκτός από τη χρηστική του διάσταση χαρακτηρίζεται και από μια άλλη, σκοτεινή πλευρά που εξάπτει την φαντασία και γεννά μια σειρά από συνειρμούς. Έτσι, δεν μπορεί παρά να λειτουργεί ως ένα αντικείμενο τέχνης, ένα φετίχ με πολλαπλές νοηματοδοτήσεις που αντικατοπτρίζει την ίδια την ύπαρξη. Τα παπούτσια υποδεικνύουν το βηματισμό, είναι το όργανο του flâneur και της περιπλάνησης. Αποτελώντας φορέα διαφόρων συμβολισμών, δημιουργούν την ίδια στιγμή νοητικές συνδέσεις και μέσω της φαντασίας παράγουν ποιητικές εικόνες. Στο κέντρο που σχεδιάζουμε σημαντική παράμετρος ήταν ο συνδυασμός δύο βασικών λειτουργιών, της εκμάθησης και της έκθεσης. Δύο λειτουργίες που διαρθώνονται στο χώρο σε split levels. Τα τέσσερα βασικά στοιχεία, το πόδι, το κουτί – shoe box, το κορδόνι και το μάτι δομούν το νοητικό μηχανισμό του κτιρίου και αναδεικνύουν την κίνηση του ποδιού. Συμπερασματικά, παρ’ότι αρχική μας πρόθεση ήταν να σχεδιάσουμε ένα χώρο με αφετηρία ένα πολύ συγκεκριμένο αντικείμενο όπως είναι το υπόδημα, σημαντικό εργαλείο που μας βοήθησε να διευρύνουμε το θέμα μας ήταν η Μνήμη. Πως μπορούμε δηλαδή να καταστήσουμε ορατές τις διαστρωματώσεις της, διερωτόμενες ευρύτερα για τον τρόπο με τον οποίο μπορούμε σήμερα να σχεδιάσουμε σε πόλεις όπως η Αθήνα που αποτελούν ουσιαστικά «υπόγεια μουσεία».	el
heal.abstract	This thesis is about creating a center of the art of the shoe in the region of Psirri in Athens, or eitherway, constructing a machine of fantasies. The shoe, besides of its utility, is characterized by another, dark side which stimulates fantasy and creates different associations. In this way, the shoe functions like an object of art, or a fetish with multiple meanings that reflects our own existence. It also indicates walking, constituting the tool of flâneur and of the wandering. Representing an ensemble full of symbolisms, shoes create mental connections and through fantasy, they product poetic images. As for the building we design, the most important factor was from the beginning the combination of two basic functions concerning the shoe, the education and the exhibition. These two functions are organized within space in split levels. The four main elements that constitute the concept are the foot, the shoe box the cord and the eye, constructing the mental mechanism of the building, by highlighting the movement of the feet. In conclusion, although our initial goal was to design a space starting from a very specific object like the one of the shoe, an important tool that emerged trough our research was Memory. In this way, by making visible the multiple layers of memory, we question about the way we can design today in cities like Athens which are, in fact, “underground museums”.	en
